Hmmmmm ... good one... cream soups, based on a childhood trauma involving French Onion soup.

White bread or whole wheat?

Whole wheat. It's supposedly a bit healtheir and I still like the taste.

Muffins or doughnuts?

I switch around as white is much better for French Toast.

Doughnuts. Filled ones mainly, but the occasional normal one is nice too.

Ballet or Opera?

Opera, though give me a modern-day musical like Avenue Q anytime.

Asia or Africa (as a travel destination)?

It's been a week or more, and I'm still undecided Parts of each are nicer than other parts.

On balance...Asia.

Planes, Trains or Automobiles?

Planes, since they can get me to those distant places.

Christmas or New Year?

Christmas. I always break my "bed before midnight" resolution a second into the new year, and it goes downhill from there.

Leisurely window shopping or Get What You Need and Out Shopping?

If I'm gifting or souvenir looking, I surprise myself by my lack of desperation. I enjoy being leisurely.

Food or personal things; get'ur done.



Get a boo-boo: Weeny or tough it out?

An attack by a cartoon bear is certainly not something you should keep to yourself. Mainly because it could be a symptom of some other serious issues.


I went through childhood never hearing the term "Boo Boo". That's because I toughed it out. You can read more in my novel "My Boot Camp Childhood." Squealing, attention seeking weenies are the last in line for treatment.

Work more hours over fewer days or work less hours but over more days?

More hours/fewer days. I think I would be able to get more things done on the other days.

Justice League or Justice Society?

Justice League for all that silver age goodness. The All Star issues are interesting and fun, but don't always work for me.

Mind you, considering the number of crossovers, Doctor Fate and a few others were practically League members in the early years. Literally the best of both worlds.

Work alone or work with a team? (Brin Londo needn't post)

With a team, definitely. More hands make light work.

X-Men or Avengers?

Overall, I think the overall writing/art package has been better for X-Men. At least going back to when I read them both. Claremont holding down X-men for so long is obviously a huge factor there.

I loved the Perez Avengers, but some of the writing wasn't brilliant. The Busiek/ Perez run was good and of course there have been highlights. But they're no JLA.

Smarts or Strength?

Smarts. I think it's easier to develop phsyical strength than it is smarts.

Mountains or beaches?

The beach. I loves jumping in the waves.


Ocean or lake?

Ocean, vecause I love the beach, soft sand, the sea breezes and the twinkling of the stars at night.

Shoes or sandals?

Shoes. I have flat feet and use arch supports, so sandals don't work for me.

Jeans or slacks?

Jeans, I feel they fit with a wider array of outfits and in a wider variety of environments.

Swimming or running?

Running.

Swimming I never could get a rhythm. It was never more than exercise I could get better doing other things without the risk of you know, DIEING! Running and can do on a whim and I can go places a car or even a bike can't take me.

volunteer or donate?

Volunteer. I was raised to be very frugal with money and to save up for eventualities, and I don't feel like I am making enough to allow me to donate substantial sums yet. Plus you never know what might happen - I missed a flight once, for example. It also feels good to be there physically helping out. My friends and I have had many good experiences as volunteers.

Soup or salad?

Soup at this time of year.

Starter or dessert?

Starter for sure. I don't have much of a sweet tooth.

Pasta or bread?

Bread makes for a better sandwich than pasta.


Darksied or the Time Trapper?

Time Trapper, as he/she was actually good in some instances.

Except for that little snot Superboy Prime. But I like to pretend he does not exist.

Rabbits or hamsters?

I was going to say rabbits, but my cat has informed me there's actually a correct answer to this, and it's hamsters. Preferably with a small dish of cat milk to go with it.
