Shopping list:

Peat Moss
Manure
Mulch
Stepping Stones

My work hours are being ramped up come Monday and time's a-wastin'. sigh

Still have to mix up that squirrel repellent, too.

It's getting slightly cooler here, but not so much that I can wear a jacket outside. I blame the humidity.

A gorgeous day today. Cool and sunny, with just a very faint breeze. I wish I could bottle it for everyone on Legion World.

nod

the residents of Kandor were bitter about having to move out to enable cleome47's plan smile

"Hey! Who put this glass barrier over the road... oh noes! we're in Kandor!

Temperature dropped just enough to go from "nice autumnal" to "dig out warmer jacket" autumnal. Horse Chestnuts have fallen. Children have taken them all. Small animals plotting bloody revenge.

We had a very loooooooong summer. Thankfully, the weather has started cooling - I was able to walk 3 blocks last night without turning into a sweaty mess smile

I wasn't kidding about the revenge of small animals. I could swear they've left a treacherous path of horse chestnuts to make me slip on purpose.

On the look out for their leader...Squirrel Girl.

I've already run through the entire big-a** bottle of Cayenne pepper that I bought to help deal with the squirrels. Only half my bulbs are in, so it's back to Cash & Carry this afternoon.

[grumble]

Although the Philippines is tropical, there's a small stretch of road where squirrels live. They only come out in the early morning though.

While it varies for others I put things out for the squirrels. I like to help them out.

They're certainy less pesky than rats or locusts. And besides, you wouldn't want Squirrel Girl to come stomping into your house!

i think Squirrel Girl would be a lot nicer to deal with than Locust Girl though.

There are at least eight women with spider-related powers in the Marvel Universe.

Wow. Who knew? So that's Julia Carpenter, Jessica Drew, Spider-Girl (dunno about spelling), Madame Web...

To get back on track with autumn, it's also starting to get much cooler here. I don't sweat as much when I walk to work in the mornings.

I'm glad our office celebrates Halloween too. It's a very simple celebration, but at least we have something.

I'm not sure we'll even have that a simple Halloween work thing this year. I think all the people who did that sort of thing have long since left.

Personally, I can take it or leave it at work. Bah! Pumpkins!
