Maybe Cobie this thread should become to new catch all for the totally revitalized ARCHIE line? I split that out. The Archie relaunch is a whole separate thing from the horror books (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina probably falls in okay).

Nice moderatoring, 'Boot!
Lash, Archie Vs. Predator has been fer-eaking awesome! I bought it on a whim too because Afterlife and Sabrina have been so great and I've enjoyed it immensely. The art alone has laugh out loud gags every page or so.

CHILLING AoS # 2: Just finished it, and yes. Just yes.
A thick story, it felt like reading any 3 issues of (insert a DC title here). Not only thick but WELL WRITTEN with some GREAT art.
I'm officially glad I didn't give up monthlies. Keep it up, ARCHIE Comics!!
(I do have CAoS # 3 to read, but I think I want to wait... 'til dark...)

CAoS # 3 scared me. A comic book hasn't scared me in years (last time was an earlier issue of TWD). I'm still a little freaked out about it.
What amazes me most is probably the totally telegraphed cliffhanger ending? The pages between the telegraphing of it and the actual depiction of it are SO ENGROSSING and FREAKY that the witnessing of the telegraphed cliffhanger MADE ME GASP. For real real not for play play.
This comic actually makes me nervous.

Yeah, I was shocked at how detailed the Satanic baptism was! The depiction of Satan himself was hella creepy too!
It had this slow burn effect that built up creepiness without ever going for a big jolt. Very effective!
