It DOES seem like it is written by someone who is stoned.
Like a run on sentence.

I brought home 12 new comics today, and of those twelve, THREE were Archie comics!!! Life with Archie 36-37 (featuring the death of Archie) & Afterlife with Archie 6 (the latest in the too-awesome Archieverse zombie saga)! How 'bout that?
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

I stopped by Half-Price books today and found that they were doing a sale where any book that wasn't bagged and boarded was only $0.10 each. I was able to find some really cool stuff to fill my Legion of Superheroes collection:
Legion of Superheroes v2: #330
Legion of Superheroes v3(1984): Annual #1
Legion of Superheroes v4:(1989): #7, #61
Legionnaires: #1
Weird Fantasy: #6
Keep up with what I've been watching lately! "Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio? Our nation turns its lonely eyes to you."

1 book - Walt Simonson's Ragnarok. Beautiful art and an interesting story, but it was over a little too soon (IDW needs higher page counts for $4.00 books). Still, I'm in to see where it goes. The story is set after Ragnarok, but a Ragnarok where something went wrong, as instead of the rebirth of Earth, the enemies instead prevail and rule a world of death, decay and evil for many centuries.
In the story, a Dark Elf assassin is hired to raise a posse and hunt down a great hero who may somehow be returning (hint: he's got a hammer). It's an interesting twist on the "evil wins" trope, and the discovery at the end of book one promises action about to pick up.

I bought Groo vs Conan. Which also gets me points from my dad, who is the Groo fan.

JLU #9 - Decent FBP #18 - OK. World's Finest #31 - meh. Gotham by Midnight #3 - Pretty good.
Nothing exceptional, but nothing to stink out the place either.

Spider-Woman 005 The Living Dead ... I liked it so much I bought two. Not really, I fell for a slightly different looking cover on the new releases section. I hate the comic store here. Hawkeye #1. was ok. Saga Twenty Six. was ok. Guardians Team-Up. so so.
I guess the Guardians of the Galaxy film was a big hit because they are all across the Marvel U.
