...had an employee quit with two days' notice because he's been recruited to play professional basketball in Ukraine (I wish I were making this up!).

Found out that I will be working 60 hours overtime on my days off

Seriously... this thing is so good that it made me grin from ear to ear. I must have looked at it like 10 different times today. I have to hold off one more day... but I'll share it tomorrow night in the "When Legion Worlder Met Legion Worlder" thread.

Trust me... it's worth the wait.

...forgot it was my 5th wedding anniversary. yay shiftwork for losing track of days.

Also found out our new contract was accepted.

... had another mundane dream about my regular life.

...saw my surgeon today. Minor surgery in my future. No hernia...but I do have a growth that needs to be removed. Fatty tumor about the size of a softball (approx).

Will be the first time I have ever been put under for anything. They found a few other things, but nothing to be worried about.

Oddly enough, he was two hours late getting to the office from the hospital. Which, I admit, was a little annoying...but liveable given what happened. As we are sitting there, this older couple comes in and sits down. She looked familiar to me, but I didn't want to stare. She seemed to be doing the same thought process as well. We were then called into the room. When we emerged, she stood up and walked over. As she said my name, it hit me who she was. Someone I have known my whole life (just do not see her all the time, she sees my parents more.) Her husband (who was there as well) is my mothers best friends (since they were 5) brother.

Needless to say, the fact that people we know and consider family love this Surgeon, makes me feel a whole lot better about everything. May not seem like much, but if he had not been delayed...we would have never seen them and known how good a Surgeon this guy is.
