Everything we had before, we still have and always will. Those stories are ours-- forever.

But if I learned one thing, I'll never pine for a past Legion / continuity / era again. Because DC will ruin it. They always have.

Whatever is to be next needs to be fresh and it needs to be great. First and foremost, it needs to be writing and art I'm excited to read and mesmerized by. Nothing else matters even a little if that doesn't happen.

Current DC would pretty much sprock anything up.

I'd still be more interested in a version of the Legion that was based on everything up until Zero Hour than anything we've had since, however.

What would need to happen?

Legion World begins a Kickstarter campaign to raise the necessary funds to purchase outright the copyrights for the Legion of Superheroes and all related indicia and characters from DC.

I can just see that.

"Yes, as soon as Legion we receive the funds, Legion fans will reach a consensus on the plot for the new book."

"Hey! the cloak's supposed to be Dark Magenta," calls another robed figure from a rocky outcropping in the desolate wasteland.

They are the Last Legion Fans. With them lies the hope of launching issue #1.
