(BTW, I don't know if that last one is really miscasting. I could totally see Angela Lansbury as Frau Totenkinder.)

I could....and I couldn't. Totenkinder has a dark side to her that I've never seen Lansbury play. And if you think of Miss Price in Bedknobs and Broomsticks, well, that's not our Frau. So while she potentially could, I haven't seen her in a role that evokes that tone. Sinead O'Connor Next: Trusty John ( Fables)

(BTW, to Paladin, if you want to see Angela Lansbury play a dark character, find the original version of The Manchurian Candidate. She is positively evil in that one.)

Lansbury can totally do dark.

I'm sure you guys are totally right. I've also seen very few movies that are usually older and considered "classic". It's kind of a hole in my pop culture makeup, I suppose. So to me, Angela Lansbury is basically just would-be witch Eglantine Price and "Murder, She Wrote" lady. So...I'm sorry. Forgiveness, please? Should I change my answer? Seriously, though, there have been a few choices others have made here as "miscastings" that I didn't agree with either!

No need for any apologies or changes, IMHO. I just meant it as a friendly tip. (Also, don't watch it while drinking. I learned the hard way that it's wayyyyy too hard to keep track of the twists and turns in that movie unless my head is completely clear. )
