Nope, was there for a whole week Really crowded place, you could walk from end to end in less than an hour. Food was great, though the only "local" food I was able to taste was the curry. Ah well.

Lotsa Filipinos there too. Filipinos are everywhere.

I've been to Kyoto too, but only for a little more than half a day (Nara took up the other half). Hardly enough time for such a magnificent city...

k) Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia

Nope, went there with friends earlier this year. A pleasant place, with some pretty good food, but the main draw IMO is nearby Mount Kinabalu.

s) Seoul, South Korea

Been here a few years back. We were there during the winter and the weather was divine. We did get tired of the Korean cuisine after a few days though.

Been to the "cultural center" called Yogyakarta earlier this year. Besides being the jump-off point for Borobudur and Prambanan, Yogyakarta has its own share of old palaces and temples (and the food was great!)

Been to Shanghai - 3 nights or so, on a stopover to the ice city of Harbin, right smack at the border between China and Russia. Both are fascinating in their own right, I can still remember the biting cold in Shanghai (which was warmer than the negative 20 degree weather in Harbin!)

Right, that doesn't leave much. So I'll pick one and leave the lucky winner with a no brainer.:)

But you ARE the lucky winner! I visited Hanoi on a Ho Chi Minh City-Siem Reap-Hanoi tour, and had a blast hanging with the locals during the Mid-autumn Festival (one even invited me to have a simple dinner with him by Hoan Kiem Lake).

Bangkok, I am due to visit with Blaze for the first time ever (for both of us)! I'm really excited, been wanting to go there for years!

yikes, this might have been the only question since I've joined. A moment to go back and look at others...

Nearly all our questions are in this same format The number of choices vary, as does the number of correct answers (some require you to pick the correct 2 or 3 answers!) Kent did a matching game once where you had to match 1-8 with a-h, but few of us do that since it takes a lot of time
