See, I am taking it as they have something cool planned, but beuing forced to do all these interviews...and really don't want to spoil whatever it is they are planning. Just my opinion though.
Active LMB character is still Beast Boy.

The Fatal Five, but not "that" Fatal Five. Huh. With DC's move towards becoming more JLA-centric, this Fatal Five will probably be a future version of the Crime Syndicate of America. Good Justice League vs. evil Justice League.

A JLA-ish 'Fatal Five' could possibly be a super-villain team-up of five foes that were capable of challenging the League single-handedly. Sort of a 'worst of the worst.'
Amazo, Starro, Despero, etc.

Yuck
Looks to me like more of the same stuff I already stopped buying.

First comic books ever bought: A DC four-for-47-cents grab bag that included Adventure #331. The rest is history.

That costume design makes it look like Superman has an eight-pack where us mere mortals would be happy to only have a six-pack (instead of the more typical 'one-pack').

Unless the League is destroyed by the end of the first issue and it's the Legion in the Second, I won't be getting this. Eff the league, they've sucked for a long while now.
Damn you, you kids! Get off my lawn or I'm callin' tha cops!

I agree.
This has vacuum-like properties (sucks) written all over it.
Not only will I not but this title, I'm generally thinking of boycotting Giffen all together.
Eff the League; Long Live the Legion!

So we have a skinhead Supes and a Wonder Woman whose lasso looks more like a grappling hook.
And that gate looks a lot like DNA's threshold tech.
And don't let Batman bite you! Maybe this one's a vampire.

JL3000 = angry people.
The creators are awfully coy in their interviews; I suppose it's to generate mystery and intrigue, but I find it off-putting.

The best way that Legion fans can express their discontent is to NOT BUY JL3000!
If asked, on any poll, board or social media variant, tell them why.
It's really just that simple.

This is part of Blacula's post from the DC runs off George Perez! thread. I recently got to see and speak to the great George Perez at a comic convention here in Perth and here's a list of what I remember him saying: * His recent run on Superman was the unhappiest experience he'd ever had in comics and he "couldn't wait to get off it". * As Keith Giffen was taking over for him on the book he told George that he couldn't believe he'd quit after only six issues. After only one month on the book Keith told him that he couldn't believe he'd lasted that long! (I think Keith himself was gone after only two or so issues.) * I asked George how the industry had changed since he had started out in it and he said that all DC books are now completely run by a committee of Warner Bros and DC executives who then dictate to the writers what will happen in them. He said that most of these people have zero 'creative' abilities between them and instead come at the comics from a completely business point of view. If Keith Giffen has already quit the Legion & Superman because of editorial interference, how is it going to be any different with Justice League MST3K? I think I'm close to canceling all my subs at my local comic book store except for World's Finest & maybe Earth 2 after the last issue of LSH.

re: Nightcrawler's pic on page 13:
Why does Superman 3000 have an "H" on his chest? (Hope?)
And why does Wonder Woman 3000 have nothing on her chest?
Next time we have a DC/Marvel crossover, I want it to take place in the Hostessverse

Re: WW 3000
I assume that comic book artists, being artists, are at least marginally familiar with human anatomy and physiology.
I assume that they are also familiar with what will attract the attention of 14-year-old boys.
Still, I feel obligated to point out that Wonder Woman 3000 is, anatomically speaking, a highly improbable construction.
My late wife was 4’10” with a 38” bust, but she was nowhere near the proportions of WW3K.
In addition, WW3K is depicted as absurdly muscular—possessing even muscles not found in ordinary human physiology.
Well-developed pectorals actually tend to [i]reduce[/] the size of the bust, by compressing the fatty tissues.
(Sorry, ladies: those ‘we must increase out bust’ exercises which you did in Junior High, while encouraging perkiness, were probably actually reducing your overall cup size.)
Wonder Woman 3000 must be carrying literally a hundred pounds of fatty tissue on her chest. The Wonder is that she can stand up straight. (Super-powerful Achilles’ tendons? Super-heavy ankles?)
Next time we have a DC/Marvel crossover, I want it to take place in the Hostessverse

If Paul Levitz had submitted a proposal to create a 31st century descendant of Superman for membership in the Legion would TPTB @ DC have given it the OK?

Why does Flash keep his nose and mouth covered? You'd think he'd need to breathe while he's running all over town at light speed.
Is Superman mad, or is he wincing in pain because he flew through a kryptonite cloud?

You know what could really make that awesome would be for the character to not even know he was related to Superman at first and be an evolutionary throwback ... the first descendant in ages to actually have super powers.

I really like that idea. Wish there was a Legion book to make it happen!

Still wishing that Rond Vidar hadn't been killed in Lo3W. He would have made an awesome Green Lantern as a legionnaire to be a tie-in with the present day GL mythos. Maybe such a tie-in character would have saved Legion from the chopping block with current DC editorial.

None of the other Flashes have ever had to keep their noses and mouths covered - Barry and Wally's costumes even had ONLY the nose and mouth bare. Stylistic element only then?
