Speaking of off the beaten track Legion stories - Weren't there original Legion stories printed in other weird places like DC Special or some such? I seem to remember ads for an "Earth Shattering Disasters" story. And isn't there a 'Christmas' story that appeared somewhere too. Have the Archives skipped those stories or are they still coming up?
Let's see....there was (using my own system of estimating where each fits into Legion continuity, regardless of actual cover date)
DC Special # 28, which I put between Superboy/Legion 227 and 228
JLA 147-148 (somewhere around S/LSH 232-233) and included (as Rob-Em says) in the Crisis On Multiple Earths TPB volume 4
DC Super-Stars # 17 (between 233-234)
All New Collector's Edition #C-55 (aka TDT, falling between 236-237)
Kamandi #58, which continues out of Karate Kid's last issue (#15) and leads (sorta) into S/LSH 242
DC Comics Presents #13, which fits between 252-253, although not published until after 254
Super-Star Holiday Special (no number), between 261-262
Secrets of the LSH mini-series, which happens around 272 or so
Superman Family #207, between LSH 275-276
Brave and Bold #179, between LSH 280-281
DC Comics Presents #43, between 284-285
World's Finest #284, between LSH Annual #1 and LSH #290 (although published after 291)
Brave & Bold # 198 (between 298-299)
DC Comics Presents # 59 (between 300-301)
Superboy # 50 (between 307-308)
DC Comics Presents #80 (between Baxter Series #8-9)
...and of course the various annuals and specials, plus the 15 issue Karate Kid series and the 12 issues of Tales of the Legion of Super-Heroes that weren't reprints of the Baxter series.
At least the first few of these would fit into Archive #14, if it happens. Speaking of which, do you think the Karate Kid series should be included in the Archives? I was not a big fan of that series myself and wouldn't miss it, although there were a couple of plot threads that were wrapped up in the main series.
As to the subject matter of all of these...well, I want to get this posted sometime this century, so I'm skipping that part for now
