Anyone else think that DC is missing a bet if they don't bring back these three (especially Dawnstar) as regular characters?

I don't know. Dawnstar's the only one that's really iconic in any way. Blok and Tyroc both seem kind of dated to me. Of course, that doesn't mean I wouldn't want to see them back all updated and stuff.

So are these pages from a back-up or the main story? Only Moore is listed as the writer on the splash page but Waid has credit on the cover.

This is the lead, I think that Waid is doing a letters page penciled by DeKraker.

STILL love that cover. Figured the insides would be a BIG letdown after that.

The big question is who the Time Trappery guy in the cloak is.

I really hope they don't make fun of Blok, Tyroc, and Dawnstar. As I said more people have gotten excited about this cover and trio than the new Super "popuar" Girl. They can easily bring the versions of the characters that exist in this reality into the Legion.

The Time Trapper guy is boring old Cosmic Boy probably.

He's the all-new Boy of 1000 Faces!

Can't be any of (thus far known) Legionnaires, since this is apparently taking place simultaneous with the big showdown with Lemnos.

Of course, it's not Cloak Kid's first appearance. Check out the bottom right corner of the rec room scene in #1.

There was a similarly-cloaked figure in a hallway scene in #2 (page 8).

Tyroc and BB doing the letter col would be hysterical.

Says who? I'll take Supergirl over those 3 any day.

Now I'm puzzled as to why the Legionnaires didn't recruit him to use his super cloak-wearing powers against Elysion.

I wonder if this is all part of the threads WaK have been weaving over the last year and ittle visual clues have been dropped into other issues as well?

make fun of Tyroc. that has to be the absolute worst costume a male character has ever had. well... okay except for Power Man's original yellow open shirt top with a tiara. sweet christmas indeed.

Yeah, but there's something about Luke's costume that rings true to his character.

And I think the whole Supergirl thing's a ploy for bringing Laurel back into the group post-IC.

Most of Blok's were pretty bad, too. That's one of the few decent outfits he had.

Didn't he (Blok) just wear underwear in his first appearance in S/LSH 253? What could be more daring than that?

My CBS had #15 as part of the FIRST LOOK program. I couldn't help but take a peek; then I just *had* to read it (something I don't normally do...)

By way of cast introduction, Barry drew a slew of upraised arms and, given the intervening year of stories, it is not too hard to identify each member based on what little he depicted. Now you look again and tell me if one of those arms MUST be attached to a certain Daxamite hero who has yet to become a member.
