There IS such a thing as over-telling. Some sequels suffer from revisiting characters who, frankly, have nothing new to offer because the originals wrapped up their stories quite well.

...built most of a fence, will finish tomorrow when the concrete has set, cleaned out and fixed my gutters, and photoshopped a picture of the house to see what colour we will be painting it.
