I'm looking at the panel from LSH 105 and the fact that they felt it necessary to have 5YL Vi & Ayla contrasted with Vi and Kinetix in the same panel - was that a hint?

While that would be an interesting idea, I don't think it's really been hinted. Kinetix helped Vi out on her date with Chuck in Legionnaires 66, and Violet certainly doesn't have any romantic thoughts about Zoe in LSH 109.

Was reading LSH annual 6 again, and which included a map of the HQ.

Kinetix and Leviathan had rooms beside each other!

So did Invisible Kid and Chameleon, Cosmic Boy and Live Wire, Apparition and Triad, Spark and XS

All the others had an empty room beside theirs (Andromeda, Violet, Saturn Girl, Brainiac 5)

I noted this too! LOL

And it seems like Vi may have moved back in there after her return as LeVIathan!

On one hand there seems to be a slight pattern of when members joined, but the ones who don't have a neighboring occupied room also make sense, as they are all characters who like their space.

I do remember Zoe confirming in L* 53 that Vi had moved back into her old room! Just to be in a familiar place

I think someone moved based on LSH 109. It seemed like they were in some kind of an adjacent suite, but I could have totally misinterpreted the art.

with LSH 109, I recall it being in the context of a sleepover, so I interpreted it as Zoe coming over to hang in Vi's quarters, or vice versa. Also seems like they had pretty spacious living quarters - each Legionnaire seemed to have a whole apartment, not just a single room
