Well? What were your preconceived notions of me? Someone had to ask.

It actually came up! I didn't see this thread and your post until later.

It was great time--and way too fast. We did meet in one of the best spots in all of NYC too!

My and Ex's meeting lasted just about three hours! I hope you guys had at least a similar amount of time.

And, um, did he deliver something to you? confused

I dread the day when you guys find out that I'm not even married... but, instead, merely a compulsive liar with a very vivid imagination. wink

I don't think I ever mentioned Mrs. Nihil's real name, did I? Why, it's... eh... Morgan Fairchild! Yeah! That's the ticket!

you forget... we have mutual acquaintances from the old neighborhood! And one of them is bound to know the truth about you! Don't make me go all Bogie on you! wink

I'll expect a review in Gym'll's, then!

I looked up the old PM last night. It's actually been nearly FOUR YEARS since I promised it to you! lol That predates, I think, both of your sons and possibly your marriage? confused

It's funny, though, I thought of sending it with Ex immediately after he messaged me about meeting when he also mentioned that you'd be next! laugh

I'll see what I can do. How far are you from an Amtrak line?

I think there's one that runs thru North Charleston. That's about 10 miles from where I live if I'm right. I'll have to double-check......

Also, at some point, I've gotta take a short day trip and meet Cranky/Mrs. Cranky/Cranky Jr (a.k.a. Rickshaw1 and fam). They live, I think, only about three hours away from me. It looks like I'll have to be the upstart in this meet-up cuz he's never talked about comin' down here! shake

Has anyone here met up with Cranky?

We went to the Plunge, the rooftop bar of the Gansavoort Hotel in the Meat Packing District. It's uber-trendy at night (every night it rages until 4:00 am) but during the day its a real chill, cool place. Great 360 degree view of Manhattan. Plus great martinis and all the waitresses are aspiring models.

There's an Amtrak train route near you, Lardy? Interesting. I wonder how long from DC? I take Amtrak all the time to Baltimore and Philly, and occasionally to DC.

When I was a teen, some guy fired a shotgun full of rock salt at my friends and I when we were drinking beers and smoking weed on his property. I've always suspected that was Rick!

Again, I'm not sure, but I can check. I imagine it's a fairly long ride from DC (if the station exists), esp. with all the stops.
