(Thanks to Cobie for suggesting this thread. smile )

A renegade Kryptonian?
A Daxamite?
An android?
Someone else?

You decide!

Personally, I'm comfortable with her being a Red K Supergirl duplicate. If she had found a way to stay a separate entity, she would have been a formidable recurring nemesis for the Legion . . . someone with all of Supergirl's powers and knowledge but an evil bent.

She would also have given Supergirl a reason to be more involved with the Legion. Kara would have made it her mission to stop "herself" from harming others.

Your thoughts?

I personally like the idea of Satan Girl being Lesla Lar. On the fly in the Archives thread, I thought of her being Lesla Lar's descendent but on further thought, I think it should be Lesla Lar herself.

Lesla Lar, for those that don't know, was something of Supergirl's nemesis in the Action Comics back-ups. She was a Kandorian Supergirl lookalike, and therefore had full Kryptonian powers.

What really stands out as a tragedy is that Lesla Lar had all this promise and then in an incredibly stupid story, she is randomly killed off hand by another Phantom Zone criminal, Kru-El. This is a pretty stupid death, and a classic case of a female character with all this potential being killed off for no real reason! I'd prefer if Kru-El did not kill her...but rather she had to "pull a Mon-El" and spend 1,000 years in the Phantom Zone where she would not die, until 31st Century science could heal her. Thus, she is cured in the 31st Century, but unlike Mon, is pretty damn pissed about her 1,000 year imprisonment and goes on to become villainess supreme, Satan Girl!

Plus, there could be a whole Mon-El subplot. Perhaps they were once allies or even had a romantic connection.

Give Lesla's last name, and Kryptonian naming conventions, one could perhaps postulate that Lesla was Mon-El's daughter, from a brief affair while he visited Krypton before its destruction!

Lesser known fact; Valor was called the 'Seeder of Worlds' not because he transplanted a bunch of colonists to other planets, but because he treated the entire thing as an extended interplanetary booty call.

By the 31st century, it's hard to find someone in the UP who *isn't* in some way descended from Mon-El...

But Imra can't be Satan Girl, since she, Projectra and Kara Zor-El are the three women who have, at different times, been behind the mask of Sensor Girl!

Satan Girl could have been a descendant of Vartoxx of Maxima.

She could have been a 30th-century White Martian.

I am always up for a second look at Kormo, home of Tharn, the original Skyboy, Superman's boy sidekick in World's Finest #92. (Or the 80-page "giant" #170)

Or, she could have been a Red Kryptonite duplicate of Superboy, evil and gender-reversed.

But that just makes it more likely Imra was Satan Girl as she is, unquestionably, evil and has a penchant for wearing masks.

Whenever she is shown breaking out from Suoerboys grip though 'strength' is really just her using her powers to make him think that what she did when in fact he just let her go.

I like the idea of Lesla Lar as Satan Girl. If she's left as a disembodied entity in the 20th century, she should have survived to the 30th century, when she could possess a Daxamite body. But she'd be unstable and could only possess it for 48 hours or something.

Lesla Lar was a great villain!
