Thanks Eryk. The one I was really concerned about was the black and yellow striped girl. I'm trying to decide between Queen Bee, Bee Queen, or Wasp Woman.

I don't own Legion of 3 Worlds, and I have no desire to borrow a trade and force myself to re-read it.
That's why I was wondering if someone could please tell me which Postboot Legionnaires survived to become the New Wanderers, because I'd like to write a story with them.

Not Kinetix. I don't recall if they lost anyone else (nor do I have much desire to re-read the story, either).

Thanks. I do still remember Kinetix's death...unfortunately. I think I'll just go with the assumption that all the others survived.

A quick check at the Cosmic Teams Legion Chronology seems to confirm Kinetix as the only death from that Legion. Of course, XS and Gates don't become Wanderers either, as they join the retroboot team.

Andromeda had also rejoined the Legion by that point.
Full membership of the "New" Wanderers:
Cosmic Boy Live Wire (restored to his "Garth" body, unknown if he retained his transmutation powers) Saturn Girl Apparition Triad Chameleon Invisible Kid Brainiac 5 Spark Violet Andromeda Star Boy Ultra Boy M'Onel Umbra Sensor Ferro Kid Quantum II Karate Kid Wildfire Shikari Gear Timber Wolf Dreamer
Would love to read your fic! (I plan to continue one myself. I think there are many ways to get XS, Kinetix and Gates back into the fold...)

Thank you, Ibby. I'm still trying to figure out how to go about it, since I've read so little of DnA's work on the Legion ongoing. It's simply bizarre how they could go so quickly from the brilliance of Legion Lost and Legion Worlds to the lameness of Ra's Al Ghul in the 31st Century. I've been using web resources, including these forums, and some of the stuff, especially towards the end, just makes me shake my head at the mess it is.

I have to agree with you. They introduced a lot of subplots which were poorly handled (Cub, Star Boy's power malfunctions, Kinetix's terrorforming, Ra's al Ghul staying a prisoner on LW...). At the very least they wrapped up the Singularity/Credo thread before they ended.
In my own writings I just picked up where the Legion left off - Legion lost in the timestream. It's been a while though and I've been working on the fic for 2 years!

I'm in need of a picture where either Timber Wolf or another Legion character such as Hunter uses their super-senses to locate an individual. The sense should be either like hearing or smelling.
I have lived for the Legion and one day I shall die for the Legion.

This might not technically count as asking for a reference, but for the continuity list I need to know what happened in recent issues of Superboy involving the Legion and/or pseudo-Legion, including revelations about history with the Legion, flashbacks with the Legion, and who was inspired by the Legion for what, as well as whether the characters who appeared were actual Legionnaires.
I don't have those issues and I will need more than a one or two line description before I can understand what happened well enough to get the list right.

I don't have those issues and I will need more than a one or two line description before I can understand what happened well enough to get the list right. IN #26 Jon Kent (the sort-of son of Superman and Lois Lane) is in the thirtieth century (I think) having killed Kon-El he takes his place. Accessing a computer to discover more about Kon-El he learns that Kon's greatest achievement will - in a thousand years hence (which kind of surprised me) - be being 'instrumental in the forming warrior-group known as Legion of Super-Heroes. They will become the greatest peacekeeping force in history'. The computer shows Jon images of Saturn Girl, Lightning Lad, Cosmic Boy, Star Boy and Bouncing Boy, none of whom are named but the images look like the recent Levitz run. It may that the thousand years hence meant from Kon's time so about now the computer's time - or not. In #27 Jon meets a telepath named Schiz who tries to kill him because he was the 'first' and she and the others are his 'children'. Eventually The Titans' Raven makes Jon remember that he freed Schiz from a pod in a laboratory at Echo's hospital. Schiz eventually explained that she and her kind where created to defeat the metas that were a menace in their time. Eventually though they too were feared, captured and placed in the stasis pods . In #28, Superboy and Schiz freed two others from the pods, Lodestone and Volt. It was revealed that each was a hybrid of humans with an alien race that had some power. Braal was mentioned for Magnetic power. Schiz had Titanian powers. There aim is to change the time-line so that they are the heroes they were bred to be. In #29, Jon pretending to be Kon introduces the Legion to the Titans. Schiz gives their names as Imra, Rokk and Garth as instructed by Jon. I'm guessing the names were obtained from the computer in #26. We also get a glimpse of three other pods containing what looks like Polar Boy, Mon-El and Phantom Girl. But they apparently died at the hands of Jon while pretending to be an Echo soldier. The body count during these issues is high. Superboy's Legion are not any Legion we would recognise. Whether they are just a DC trick or whether they transform into the real deal at some stage remains to be seen.

Hey, just wondering if anyone can tell me which of the three writers who worked on End of an Era (Mark Waid, Tom McCraw, and Kurt Busiek) came up with the idea of Rokk as the Time Trapper.

Not much from my skim through the Legion Companion... lots of Zero Hour needing to be done sort of things, but nothing that specific I can see at present.

Social media experiment... I just posed the above question to each of the three (Mark Waid, Tom McCraw, and Kurt Busiek) via Facebook messaging.
Let's see what happens...

>sigh< I remember the old days when you wanted some eldritch horrors removed. A month in the Miskatonic library, poring over tomes, battling with your sanity. Now? 10 seconds on Facelessbook and it will even tell you which air freshener is best to get the stench from beyond out. Oh sure, humanity is saved, but where's the fun? where?

Ex, much appreciated.
Thoth, I agree Facebook has taken the fun out of a lot of things, but it does have its uses.

Well... for my money... the fun lies in direct contact with the creators themselves. Hearing firsthand, without editorial... um... "editing"... the "True Hollywood Story" of all the long-standing whys and wherefores is well worth the sacrifice of months of speculation. To wit... two hours later... from the keyboard of Tom McCraw: "I, <my real name, but - for the sake of argument - let's pretend I'm actually called> Exnihil. It was mostly my idea. Once it was suggested, Mark loved the idea and the team ran with it." Et... voila! But - bear in mind - as yet, neither Waid nor Busiek have read the query. Who knows what additional evils lurk in the heart of Mark?

Wonderful. Thanks again, Ex. And please tell Tom McCraw that a dedicated Legion fangirl and equally dedicated Rokk-hater of your acquaintance thanks him from the bottom of her heart.

Hey Legion fans, the new 52 Legion of Super-Heroes which ended a while back....I'm wondering which Legion they are attributed to being? Were they officially considered to be the Original/Classic Legion The first re-boot where they started changing the names of the characters (Livewire etc.)? or the reboot after that which Mark Waid started and Jim Shooter finished? Or was it yet a different Legion?
I have lived for the Legion and one day I shall die for the Legion.

The Legion section of the Cosmic Teams website is the best place to find the answers to your questions: http://www.cosmicteams.com/legion/

It's a completely messy question. When they were first introduced in "The Lightning Saga", the claim was put forward that they shared the history of the original Legion up to the Crisis, and then diverged from there. When Levitz took over, he stated that everything up through his last run (the end of the Magic Wars) was in continuity. Of course, trying to square any of this with the fact that you've got a Superman whose history and supporting cast is much different than that of the pre-Crisis Superman causes all kinds of problems. And then of course Superman gets rebooted with the new 52 causing all kinds of inconsistencies with even their recent appearances.
So, yeah, it's kind of a mess.
