Seeing it bigger now...I know this is a multiverse event fun stuff. And everything will 'probably' be back to normal at the end of IC.
BUT Barry draws Blok so GOOD they have to have him join at some point. All three characters look amazing and personally I would gladly welcome all of them back (especially cause I fear Waid may give us new characters to run along the Adv. Legion).
But Blok has to join soon. He's one of Barry's best looking characters!

Wow! What a reaction! Thanks everyone!  It was great to get to draw those guys - and even better to read how many of you like my versions! I hope you won't mind my not answering any of your speculations - but there's so much happening in the next issues I don't want to spoil any of it!

Now I have never been a Dawnstar fan, but...... WoW !! Tyroc looks like he has got some serious attitude, which he needs to carry that costume off. That's a busy busy background, Talk about pencil cramp.  I guess the muted colours are to throw the foreground figures into greater relief. Nice to see a (potential) bouncing boy and (finally) get to see Atom Girl obviously gracing a cover even if she seems to be in blue and black.

-some more to think about. Both Drake and Jeckie as Sensor Girl. Sounds like we'll be seeing a lot of cameos, my guess is that they will be from various LSH eras, to be wiped away by the end of the issue.

I wonder if we'll get the whole team. That might mean Quislet, too... maybe they can set up some inter-space/time portal and have annual or occasional visits. I hope it's more than just cameo shots!

Also on the Geoff Johns boards, Stuart Moore said he's working closely with Waid on #15. That gives me hope that it won't be just another uninteresting fill-in. It will actually be important to the series.
Plus Moore's hints are exciting!

Barry,
Easily one of the most beautiful Dawnstars of all time. The curve of the wings, the flowing hair, the forehead star, the fringe, the sleeves, the cleavage. Yummy.
...but you don't have a moment where you're sitting there staring at a table full of twenty-five characters with little name signs that say, "Hi, my superpower is confusing you!"

Once again, Thanks everyone! It was rather special for me to get to draw these characters and I tried hard to do them justice! By the way, as far a speculating about characters goes - you may want to look carefully at the interiors over the next issues (and even some of the older ones again) for hints of what's to come  Thanks again about the cover!

This costume was designed by Keith Giffen and always colored red and blue. The yellow and blue designed outfit he later wore was designed by Steve Lightle. So, I just had to recolor it -

Well spotted on the color of Blok's costume - that will be fixed when the actual color for printing is done...I hope Chemical King is on the cover to #53 - Quantum Queen is featured on #68....not absolutely sure when Reflecto gets on a cover - I'd best check with Mark....

I hope that, along with thanking Barry et al. for stellar work and fascinating prospects, it wouldn't be out of line to note ... that Dawnstar's forehead emblem was almost always shown with eight points, and never in the past with just five. For what it's worth.
