We have a winner! Quislet is correct.
I had The Slammer when my friend's Indian boyfriend visited. He got so drunk he ended up doing pushups in the parking lot.
The Weng-Weng is a nice orange-colored drink. Blaze and I had one while watching the sun set over the Metro.

Last month my book club read a graphic novel that I suggested. Which was it?
1) Maus 2) Contract with God 3) V for Vendetta 4) Barefoot Gen 5) Fables 6) Ultimates vol. 1 7) Preacher vol. 1 8) Y: the Last Man 9) Ghost World 10) Understanding Comics 11) the graphic novel got voted down because no one want to read a "comic book"

You wandered into the correct answer.
We actually read Contract with God and The Plot. Both by Will Eisner

Wow! I'm psychic.
Yesterday, I played which video clip for my freshman comp students?
"Antigone" (1961) "Death of a Salesman" starring Dustin Hoffman "Don't Stop" by Fleetwood Mac "Dove: Evolution" - TV commercial "Galaxy Quest Chompers/That's Not Right" "Hotel California" by The Eagles "Howl" by Allen Ginsberg "I Love Lucy" - chocolate factory scene "The Mad Ones" by Jack Kerouac "Somebody to Love"/"White Rabbit" by Jefferson Airplane "Sultans of Swing" by Dire Straits "What About Love?" by Heart "Your Daddy Don't Know" by Toronto
Note: I have played almost all of these in my classes at one point or another.

I've used a clip of "Howl" in my classes before, but not in a few years.
Try again.

"I Love Lucy" - chocolate factory scene
Exnihil: Novelty, if he had a power, the obvious one to me would of course be "The Power of Grayskull"

I've used the chocolate factory scene a lot, because "I Love Lucy" is the subject of a wonderful student research paper in our textbook. But I used it last Friday, not two days ago.

I played "Sultans of Swing" last semester because it was referenced in one of our readings. But I didn't play it this semester.

And . . . Virie's the winner!
On Friday, I played "Don't Stop" by Fleetwood Mac and then pulled up the Wikipedia pages of both the group and Christine McVie (keyboard player/singer/songwriter). Both pages have been flagged for lacking sufficient sources and verification, and, in McVie's case, possibly libelous material. (Hers has been flagged for three and half years!)
The Lesson: Why you should not use Wikipedia as source in academic papers.
(Aside: Here's my "feeling old" moment of the week. None of my students, who are all about 18-19 years old, knew that this song had been used as Bill Clinton's presidential campaign theme or that the group had reunited to perform at his inauguration 20 years ago. However, since Fleetwood Mac (sans Christine) is coming to Kansas City shortly, I'm hoping some students connect the group to the video and realize that academic writing is all about making connections.)

I actually used "Your Daddy Don't Know" for the same reason last year. The Wikipedia article had multiple issues, including the misspelling of guitarist Sheron Alton's name (since corrected).

Well I am finally taking two days off from work (actually I'm being forced to take the time off, but thats another story)
Random guess time...I normally clock 84 hours in a two week period. How many hours of overtime did I put in for this pay period?

Hmmm. So your average workweek is about 42 hours. I'm going to say you might have worked an extra 28 or 29 hours in one week...hmmm...
How about 57 in a two week period.
