What he needs is a "Lad" or "Boy" at the end of his name. Sounds less evil. "Kid", however, sounds more evilesque.

What was it with the Uncanny Amazers? They must have had some sort of head fetish, considering that up to 25% of their membership at one point had head-related powers...

Phrenologax sounds like onomatopoeia for spitting out bad-tasting food and then gagging on the traces still left in your mouth.

I was actually listening to a lecture on phrenology recently and had some ideas for this character, but I don't really remember what they were now. I had to look phrenology up on Google.  I honestly thought "Phrenologax" was just a nonsense made-up word, like so many sci-fi and fantasy character names are.
Still "Fickles" to my friends.
