Okay, speaking of telescopes, what was discovered by the hyper-telescope at the Palmer Observatory?

While the Sun-Eater was discovered by hyper-telescope two centuries before the Legion's time, it is not specified that it is was discovered by Palmer Observatory, so it is not the answer I am looking for!

Nope, not the gorilla nebula.

Hint: the question could also be phrased as "Who was discovered..."

Not Pulsar Stargrave, though it was a Shooter written story.

Nope.

Hint: While this is true per the original story, it was retconned post-Crisis.

Nope. Again, it is something first introduced by Jim Shooter.

Per Adventure #346, "Recently, the new hypertelescope at Palmer Observatory discovered a hirtherto unknown galaxy at the very edge of the visible universe! That entire collection of stars and planets is dominated by a single world!" We soon find out that world is named "Khund". So, the Khunds it is.

I've wondered if the "Palmer Observatory" is supposed to be reference to Ray Palmer.

In that first Khund story, a certain location on Earth is referred to by a name that has since become an anachronism (unless the name changes back in the next thousand years). What is that place?

Correct! One of the electro-towers was said to be based in Ceylon, which is now called Sri Lanka.

Whew! I'd guessed it would be a former country name, just got lucky.

Sorry for not checking in until now.

Two versions of Luornu Durgo were once shown having each of their 3 selves go on 3 separate "dates" simultaneously.

Name the persons these 3 went on dates with.

Illustration:

1st instance

Lu Body A
Lu Body B
Lu Body C

2nd instance

Lu Body A
Lu Body B
Lu Body C

1st instance (Reboot)

Lu Body A - Chuck Taine
Lu Body B - Superboy (Kon-el)
Lu Body C - Magno

2nd instance (Threeboot)

Lu Body A - Element Lad
Lu Body B - Karate Kid
Lu Body C - Star Boy

One of the answers above is completely correct. Two others are wrong.

I don't recall Animated Lu ever going on 3 dates simultaneously though so cannot comment on that.

Also a hint - the word "dates" is in quotation marks because one of those "dates" was actually a group "date"/trip.
