Just started re-watching on Friday! BouncingBoy

I wondered if after all this time, I wouldn't find these as much fun. After Episode 1, I'm happy to report that I still do. The design of 31st Century Earth and Clark's constant state of "WTF?" when confronted by these weirdos who claim to know his future? Priceless.

And already we see the Empress and the Fatal Five, who seem perfect down to the last detail. w00t!

I re watched the Season 1 finale and was pleasantly surprised to see how much I liked it still. They juggled the large cast so well.

poke

NO SPOILERS!!

Just kidding, IB. In fact, now's the point where I shamefully confess that I watched the last episode of S2 first. Mostly because I was just so surprised to find the cartoon was a thing which actually existed. I just wanted the evidence before I forgot the news. I wasn't really thinking about whether I'd actually have the attention span to sit and watch a whole season of anything at that point.

I usually don't watch series because I hate having to catch every episode in sequence. But I made an exception for the Legion toon smile

I'm tempted to start skipping ahead to S2. "In The Beginning" would be a help to me since I'm trying to start writing fic again. But, no... Going to try and do everything in order this time.

Despite the fact that I'd already seen these a dozen times, I don't think I'd ever caught Jo "Not yet Ultra Boy" Nah winking at Phantom Girl until the re-watch yesterday. Some of the details they worked in there are such a kick!

Okay, now up to S2's "Who Am I?" Despite it being one of the most sausage-saturated episodes, I'll always admire it for its blatant admission that if you put teenagers together in a room they'll invariably think that stupid ideas are brilliant. Even a thousand years from now.

When I first watched this episode with mr_cleome, he explained the plot to his best friend of 30 years. The dialogue went something like this:

mr_c: Hey, Fred (not the friend's real name) What would you have said back in the day if I wanted to shoot a brainwashing plastic bullet into your head for SCIENCE?

Fred: Dude, I would've said, "WTF?" Also, "Don't come near with that [redacted] thing or I'll kick you in the [redacted]s."

Ah, memories!

Disclaimer: I don't know if it makes a difference, but mr_c read more comics than his best friend did.

hmmm
