Hi Guys Here are the scans for my last SGLSH cover - I hope you enjoy them. I probably have a lot more to say when #30 sees print, but for now can I just say one more time what a fantastic experience it has been drawing the Legion and getting to interact with you guys - it'll always be a memory I treasure...and who knows, maybe I'll even be back one day! Thanks as always to Nightcrawler for hosting the scans for me.

Won't be necessary once my friends at the National Institutes of Health are successful in cloning you from the small DNA sample I lifted from the cover of LSH #1 you signed for me at Baltimore last year. <span style="font-size: 9px;">(note: The Pentagon confiscated the Mark Waid DNA sample for "national security purposes.")</span> Thanks, Barry for the beautiful art and the excruciating teasing.

Barry, it's been an honour and a privilege having you here. And don't think that you can't hang around; I know you've made a lot of fans around here who are probably going to keep up with your work.

I really hope so, you really are one of my favorite artists on Legion. And, please do keep coming to Legion World when you are working on other things. Maybe you'd enjoy the change in the type of interaction, i.e. moving from being the 'all-knowing power-that-be who knows many of the things that we'd really, really like to know' to being just another fan. It has been great having you around.

Barry, you've definitely made your mark with the Legion which everyone knows has a very impressive history of great artists.
Thanks for everything, and continued success to you.

Awesome thanks Barry. Love the pencils! I hope maybe over at Marvel we can possibly see the no inker look on your work. (not trying to put inkers out of business)

Love the pencils too. And I'll be sure to follow Mr Kitson's work over at Marvel. I was looking forward to seeing the art in Legion every month. Chances are that I'll become a Champions fan just for the artwork!

You've been a welcome addition to Legion World, Barry. Please feel free to come here anytime, regardless of what book you are working on. You're part of the family now, you poor guy

Thanks Barry! I'm still trying to find Cham in the thumbnail, but so far I can only find Wildfire and Kent Shakespeare.

Thanks guys - it's been a fantastic time for me - and being part of Legion World has definitely been one of the most enjoyable aspects! Nightcrawler suggested an appearance by the Imperial Guard in The Champions which strikes me as inspired thinking! I'll start working on persuading Matt immediately! You know...I can't spot Cham in the thumbnail either!

Cham must be doing one of those insignificant gnat-like things again.
Beautiful composition with lots of energy! It reminds me of the starburst on the Legion flight ring.
Holy Cats of Egypt!

Thanks GN! I can't believe I missed Cham off of the cover - I even asked everybody else on the book to let me know if I'd missed anyone! I wish I could add him in somehow...maybe that 'gnat-like' solution is the one thing I can fall back on!

Ah... the old "flying immediately in back of the hot chick in the mini-skirt" trick.
And they said Cham wasn't interested in single-form sentients...

The disturbing secret is that Cham *is* on the cover.
But nobody else is...

I'm using the cover as my PC screen image--just another example of how much I enjoyed Mr. Kitson's artwork. You, sir, shall be missed by this ancient Legion lover but of course I wish you well and hope you keep in touch with us and keep the door open for future LSH assignments.

I still say DC needs to collect Barry's B&W inks and print a poster book. I'd buy at least two copies.
Thanks for hanging out with us here Barry and sharing. You've been a gentleman and given us more of your time than was probably wise. But that makes me appreciate it more.
Just stop by and share your new projects with us when you can.

Pfft! The only solution is for Barry to draw another cover with Cham on it. The heck with all this exclusive contract stuff -- just sign it "Steve Apollo". I'll miss your artwork, Barry, but I look forward to your whatever insights you choose to share with us about your and Mark's 30 issues.

Thanks again! I'm actually quite looking forward to discussing it all after #30 with you! It'll be nice not to have to worry about giving things away any more!

Give what things away? Wouldn't it be less stressful if you just unburdened yourself of these terrible secrets right now? Just kidding.

Oh, you can't possibly be looking forward to it as much as we are! I'm dying to hear about the Daxamite genocide, and particularly if Mon-El and Element Lad were ever going to have a 'chat' about it.
