Okay, okay, cripes, stop pestering me.

1. Brin may be dead. That is his jacket Elysion was wearing, and Elysion says that Brin is dead. Put whatever weight on that you like.

2. There may be no such person as Atom Girl / Shrinking Violet. Karate Kid certainly doesn't think she exists, anyway.

3. By the end of the issue, another Legionnaire looks pretty damn dead. I'm absolutely not going to reveal who it is. I will say it's nobody we considered an obvious candidate for killing off, and I still don't know why he/she was selected for the honour. But I'm not happy about it. The #11 cover, previewed in thumbnail on the preview page at the end, portrays this Legionnaire's inert body, but I can't tell from looking at it whether he/she's really dead or not.

You give in too easy Matthew!! Thanks for sharing.... are you sure you don't want to reveal just a tad more info? Just kidding!! I'll wait til Wednesday. Another 40 hours won't kill me. (I hope!)

*Ka-Ching*!!!! But Elysion may have underestimated Brin's hidden power (healing power), and also we have been pestering and nagging on Barry Kitson about Atom Girl.

I really hope that it's not Invisible Kid who is being in the coffin.

Barry must be more adept at the teasing game than we thought...is there an Atom Girl or is she just a red herring to pave the way for the return of Shrinking Violet (IMHO that name suits her more than in any revamp, reboot or re-incarnation).

Is the flame girl, bluish water guy, and orangish muscle guy of Terror Firma named this issue?

And is the triangle girl from the cover of issue #12 in the issue? If so, who is she? <- this one is spoilerish.

Bets on dead Legionnaires? I'm still thinking it's Ferro Lad. The only difference is that this time around his face is not disfigured and he's been undercover.

I think we can safely say that Brin and Violet will be seen in the future.

All we know about the "dead" Legionnaire is that his/her apparent death is a "huge event" that will have "massive ramifications". Sounds bloody serious. I wish people wouldn't tease about such things.

Nightcrawler: No, no new names. And the only thing I know about Triangle Girl is that she hates Particle Girl, and if they ever meet, Triangle wins.

And, according to Karate Kid, Atom Girl and Shrinking Violet are the same nonexistent person.

I may have misread the cover to #11. I had to squint. Are we talking about the same cover here? Big close-up of a flight ring, with a reflection in it?

I wouldn't have thought so. All I've seen is the little thumbnail in the back of #10. But when disaster boy, upthread, started talking about Brin being on the #11 cover, I began to doubt myself.

He meant the cover of 12 which we thought was the cover to 11 until this past week.

After quaffing a bottle of Pepto Bismol, it occured to me that the "death" might be a Projectra illusion. The solicit for issue #11 is intriguing:

"On the eve of galactic destruction, with the dream of a United Planets dissolving into hopelessness, only an all-out brawl between the Legion and the agents of Terror Firma can halt the coming invasion ‹-provided a key player in the war finds within herself an unexpected power! "

I'm probably jumping the gun, but it's something to hope for.

The circumstances of the death make Projectra's involvement basically impossible.

"she" discovers a new power? That gives us Ayla (who hasn't manifested Lightning in this boot), Projectra could become a lot more like Sensor Girl or Imra might learn how to speak out loud...maybe we haven't seen Atom Girl because she doesn't know how to grow large yet?...

I think - and this is not a spoiler - that the 'she' who discovers a new power is Projectra becoming more like Projectra. After all, she was supposed to have no powers at all at the start, 'royal sorceress' or not.

The "dead" (?) Legionnaire is DREAM GIRL. All we see at the end is a bloody arm wearing a silver and turquoise bracelet sticking out of the rubble of Legion HQ, which was completely destroyed by Elysion and Lemnos' sleeper agents..

The destruction of HQ and Nura's apparent death happen while most of the other Legionnaires are off-world. We learn the "three worlds" critical to U.P. victory are EARTH, DORMIR and TTRXL. The team splits up into three sub-teams to investigate Dormir, Ttrxl and Terror Firma's homeworld (not named). At the end, when all the HQ technology is destroyed, including the transmatters, the Legionnaires are all stuck on these others worlds, except for Brainy, Lyle and Nura, who remained on Earth.

Projectra does not believe that Brin is dead, and neither do I. She joined the party that goes to Terror Firma's homeworld..

Terror Firma Names: GRON (the big guy Brin was fighting) and KYNDA (fire girl).
