Hey Everyone...
I just wanted to post mt first message here and introduce myself. Honestly, I haven't been a longtime Legion fan or anything, but I have always kinda thought they were quite cool... so, needless to say I am trying to change all that by learning as much as I can about all the characters and of course picking up some of the different Legion titles and reading them. I have been reading some of the board and everyone here seems pretty friendly, so that's cool. Just one thing that I am wondering about though... It seems that there are quite a few gay Legion fans. Is it just me, or is that the case? Just wondered, cuz myself, I AM gay but I wasn't aware that there were so many others gay fans as well. Things that make you go "Hmmmmmm". Okay, enough for now. I hope that serves as a suitable introduction.

Welcome to Legion World Jeff. Always glad to get a new recruit to the Legion. Any questions you have, just step up and ask. You'll probably get a number of answers. As to your first question, I'm not qualified to answer that specifically but I've always just accepted it as part of Legion fandom. I'm not sure if other titles have a huge gay following or not but it has never made a difference to me when it comes to the Legion. I consider everyone here my friends and quite a few of you as part of my extened family. Just as long as you are not a protean pretending to be from Winath, you are okay in my book. It seems the LEGION *does* have a number of gay fans, and historically, has more female fans than most other comics.
Why? I "blame" Mike Grell's sexy sideburns on the team during the 70s.

Thanks for the warm welcome gang... This board is somewhat refreshing as I spend a good bit of time on the John Byrne Messageboard. I am a huge fan of John's work, but the board is jammed full of pretense and elitism. After awhile it starts to rot the flesh on my body, so I just need to bolt. This is a nice escape. People here seem to be genuinely friendly, and that's cool. And to answer a previous question... Yes, I do like T-Wolf but I am more of a fan of his older look. I'm not all that crazy about his more recent look. But, his logo still rocks, though. --Jeff Hall p.s. Calling me "Jeff" works for me...

and i suppose the LEGION does has a BIG gay following !!! [ i'm gay, also ]
when i joined the DCMBs a couple of years ago, and started getting to know all the posters, there [ and most of them are here, now ] i was kinda surprised to find fellow comic and LEGION fans that were gay !!! it's great !!!
