But I do know that EDE has made it a point to include me, Icy has flirted with me (?), and Lash laughs at/with me. That's more than I get from the DCU boards.

Some of us don't plunge in to the silliness, mostly because we're not adept at it, but that doesn't mean that we don't -- usually -- enjoy watching it.
You can appreciate and enjoy a baseball game, even if you couldn't hit a wiffle ball.
Those who play off of others' silly riffs around here are doing so from familiarity with what others do, or with their pet phrases or passions or dislikes. Much more so than from cliquishness, as I see it.
