So Year Four has the benefit of EDE keeping track of most of the story threads, and others saving them!
The missing gaps include how the following joined:
EDE Kid Prime Varalant Fat Cramer Arachne Harbinger Semi-Transparent Fellow Icefyre
plus the brief return of Loser Lad, and most importantly the move to Legion World (which I think EDE might be taking care of). If any other LMBers were prominent that aren't here now or aren't listed, let me know! Where has Beagz been? What ever happened to Omega Man and Orkanabo?

And here's the thread to post on!
There are still holes in LMB history in every year, especially the latest! When did many of the Legion World posters begin posting?!
I already see Super Lad Kid and Semi joined up in the Lurkers thread, and then became prominent posters here, but what about the rest? Vee, Kid Prime, EDE and FC all joined up earlier in other forums, but I'm not sure entirely when. Can anyone shed some light?
And does anyone remember any other fun aspects of the continuity?

Hey CK I was brought over from the DC boards by Lash. I had a huge battle with Evil Queen and found out Semi was my brother. I had an on again off again affair with Italian Boy. I am currently seeing SharkLad!

Excellent guys! I knew I could count on you!
Danny, don't forget to mention that you now trade places with Mantis in another universe sometimes! And that she has had visions of a dark one here coming to Legion World! And that you've opened up the cool Starfield Lounge!
Icey, that's great! I'm glad Lash brought you over here, he's always had an eye for LMB talent! It's funny that we pretty much talk and hang out every day since we're both posting close to every day of the week!

I found this board in the middle of August, I was lurking over at the DC Boards and followed a link posted by Thriftshop Debutante (now you guys all know who to blame) to here. I lurked for about 2 weeks before deciding to jump in.
The Space Ranger grew out of the conspiracy threads running around the boards at that time.
This is the only message board I have ever actively participated in and I'm loving every moment I spend here.

When the Space Ranger showed up, it was right at the exact time that I had returned to the LMBP (days apart I think), and it was pretty cool to see! With Space Ranger appearing and many not trusting him, plus the alt Id's of Winema Wazzo, Thora, etc. and the Tarik the Mute stuff, it was a pretty cool mystery. I'm going to go over this bit of continuity (the past two months or so) in more detail in the next few days!

Well, I guess it's my turn then.... Varalent first appeared on the original DC Boards around the time that the tag team thread "Omega Man Gambit" was just getting started. (If someone can put an approximate date to that I would love to know when it was because I haven't a clue! Seems like ages ago!) I lurked for a couple of days and just loved everyhting that was going on. EDE was already there and very prominent on the "Omega Man" thread; Lash was there also, being his normal lovable self; Some of the others I remember having the most interaction with or being most active and memorable were LL & NC, Shady, Grey, Lardy, Bucky the Super Beaver, & Roddy the Super Rodent. I'm pretty sure Omni Craig was there, very active on the trivia threads as were jimgallagher, and greyplaidmoose(?). KP was there already as well, I'm certain because, when I joined, he was already trapped in Austria in the Tag team thread. I inserted myself into the story as a new character who was just learning how to use his size varying powers in France. I first spotted a flat chested girl and ggrrrEEWWWW her boobs until they were enourmous. Then a french guy that I couldn't understand (he was saying "Voulez vous cuche avec mois" or something like that ) accosted me and I retaliated by gggrroooWWWWIIINNGGG his nads to the size of beach balls. His name was Francois as I recall and he appeared a few times during the thread. At that point, I was somehow transported to the Ice Cream Parlol (with an L) and thrust into the middle of a battle between some of the LMBPers and some sitcom characters (they were hysterical but I can't recall their names right now) Captain Lightbulb and the Light Brigade appeared and I was dispatched to France with the Flasher (yep, that's what he used to do alright) to keep Omega Man imprisoned as France. (Don't recall who Omega Man was!) It seems that if his nads and penis were allowed to grow to normal size again he would gain his freedom and be able to cause all sorts of havoc. There were some great characters in that thread, many of which EDE records in the Who's Who in the Light Brigade thread over at Bits. Just as I'm struggling to keep Omega Man from bursting free there was an explosion and I disappeared from continuity! (I had planned on returning shortly thereafter to continue my participation but events on the homefront keep me away for quite some time, so Varalent became lost. Early this summer I finally made my way back to the DC boards only to find them completely changed and everyone pretty much gone. After quite a bit of searching, I track the trail of the LMBP to the Jolly Roger Board (Ships & Giggles) where I came across the Super Jailhouse of Space thread. I immediately posted my return to action and waited for someone to continue with the next post...only no one did! (If you go there now, the thread is still there and the last time I checked, mine was the last Legion post there.) I continued my search and finally found a post either at Jolly Roger or at Rob's that mentioned Legion World. I immediately "teleported" here (this was early July of this year) and found most of the LMBPers I remembered here. A quick reconnoiter led me to the Super Jailhouse thread which I read from start to finish. (My post at the other board would not have fit so I inserted myself in yet another way into the thread ~ I'm nothing if not persistent!) I then came to Mission Monitor Board and found that EDE & KP had already created a welcome thread for me! What a surprise! It really felt like I had finally survived "The Impossible Journey" and had made it home! I've been here ever since and I guess have become one of the more active posters. Early on I created Varalent's Variable Villa (everyone else had their own room here at the time.) and settled in for some fun. Danny soon moved from the Starfield Room another room. At the time there was discussion about creating & naming a dormitory forum for all the rooms (Swan Hall) I suggested to Danny that we rennovate his old room into the Starfield Lounge, which we did. Shortly there after Semi started the Shakes thread over at Anywhere Machine (though it wasn't called SHAKES at the time) Lash suggested the name and I urged Semi to move it to MMB (and rename it SHAKES officially) which he did. The rest as they say is history. (Gosh I sure can ramble, can't I!)

My first connection with the LMBP came in the "Hot Summer Nights" story, though I'd been posting on the DCMBs for much longer. I guess I first discovered the boards shortly after I started reading the Legion again during the first few issues of Legion lost, and remember posting infrequently to a lot of the game threads. I also contributed a few more serious threads (one of my favorites was called something like "Unused or Underdeveloped Plot Threads"). I stayed mostly on the LSH boards, though I was aware of the madness that was going on the Legionnaires board.
After the two boards were collapsed into one, I gradually started posting more frequently, especially to a lot of the humor threads. A number of the lists in the TTT/bbz/Reep humor thread are from topics that I started (such as "Signs one of the Legionnaires has gone insane). I also shared bbz's interest in polling, which led to what I believe was the first suggestion that I was someone's alt-ID when Grey hinted that I was really bbz. I remember Lash posting to ask if this was really the case, and my denying it. I don't know if this is the origins of Lash's quest to discover my "true identity", but I remember being amused by the situation. Interestingly, I'm pretty sure it was bbz who first used the EDE nickname.
I'm not sure what led me to start contributing to "Hot Summer Nights" when Lash started it, but I really got into it. I sort of took on the role of trying to weave a coherent plot out of the story by finding an excuse to post a summary of it or exposition of what was going on every page or so. I remember when people started posting stuff like "Isn't it time for one of EDE's patented summaries?" it just seemed really cool. I remember one great night when it was just me and Lash posting, and we ended it with the moon crashing into the Earth and killing everyone and I actually thought there was no way to continue the story from there until someone figured out how to a couple of days later. I remember Lash started destroying the universe every time we'd take too long between posting sections of it, which led to us having to resort to incredibly creative ways to restore things to normal (my having Leap Year Lass [later retconned to Space Tart] pull the old universe out of someone ass probably remains my favorite!]. And of course Lardy just kept pushing the sex further and further until the thread got deleted. But what a ride it was!
"Doom of the Super-Heroes" was good as well, but never quite recaptured the magic. It stagnated with just me and Lardy writing, and Lash eventually destroyed everything. I was charged with starting a new thread with one of my "patented plot summaries", and came up with the set-up for "The Omega Man Gambit", which never quite took off.
Around this time I started getting a few interesting e-mails related to posting on the boards. One was from Tom Feister in regards to the Omega Man Gambit. He was asking how often I started one of these threads, and was asking if I would start one on Jolly Rogers. It was funny considering what a newbie I considered myself to be at the whole business. The closest we came really was when we moved "Super-Jailhouse" to Jolly Rogers as a temporary home. Now that it's finished, I should probably copy the rest of it there.
Another interesting e-mail I received was from Lardlad, who told me that MLLASH had deduced the secret that I was one of his alternate IDs, and that he had "confessed" that that was indeed the case. Lardy and I developed a number of plans for keeping up the charade that we were the same person, but many of them never really came to fruition as his posting time was drastically cut down. This is actually the origins of the whole "Is Lardy a clone of EDE?" subplot in the story threads, which was introduced for that very reason. Lash seemed a bit miffed when I revealed my true identity during the waning days of the old DCMBs, saying that Lardlad had been replaced by a "Durlan imposter".
My intention at the time was to retire from posting when the new DCMBs became the only DCMBs, but I was one of the first to follow Lightning Lad's invitation to sign up at Rob's boards (though I remember at the time suggesting Jolly Rogers as an alternative, remembering Tom's earlier invitation"). I remember being elated when I was elected as one of the moderators for the board, though it ended up being a lot bigger hastle than I expected. I was thinking about resigning before the events that led us to abandon that place (ironic, considering I was the only one who didn't technically resign).
I was pretty happy when a number of posters settled at Jolly Rogers, though posting there never felt quite right for some reason. But when Scott and Gary announced they had founded Legion World, I knew it was going to be something really good. I made over a hundred posts the first weekend it was open, and for awhile was a core member of the Top Five Posters Club. I don't have time to sustain that level of activity these days, but I'm glad everyone is having such a good time here.
Anyway, thanks to everyone for making this such a great experience, and an unexpectedly positive part of my life.

Alright, quick history -
I actually joined the LMB in a thread for new applicatns. I couldn't tell you what year, but I know it was on the Legionnaires board and i know the thread was started by Lash. That's how Super lad Kid was born. I posted his secret origin on a later thread. Something else else about a meteor, aliens, and radioactive spiders. I thought I was just making up some fun thing to add to the thread; I had no idea I was actually joining up for anything.
I lurked and participated in absolutely NOTHING until the Crisis ( or Zero Hour or whatever) story that occurred just before the end of the Legionnaires boards. I killed myself in one of the posts. I tried to make a comeback on the new condensed Legion board as Visible Kid, but that one never really took off.
I lurked until the new boards came. I tried to lurk on Rob's boards but things got waaay out of hand with the picture of the one guy sleeping ( I never did figure out what that was all about). I gave up trying to follow you guys until I saw a post about Legion World on the DC boards by Kid Prime. I came over, signed up, delurked in the "Lurkers Reveal Yourselves" thread, and have now posted more messages on this board than I have ever posted for anything on the internet.
It's still in my nature to just lurk, but once in a while I speak up about something or take part in some story - I was a student of Tharok's and I got on Thora's bad side quickly. That's about it. Nothing much more to say. Just remember, you asked.

Super Lad Kid- I hope you see the resonse I left for you in the Lurkers thread! It's good to have you aboard! Funny to think you may have seen my name long ago, yet I'm only now getting to know you!
And thanks to all of you for sharing your stories so far! I hope more of you do!
EDE, I love the idea of Spacey pulling out the universe from someone's ass, I wish I saw that thread!
From the sound of it, the LMBP went through some crazy times in the last year going from forum to forum and crisis to crisis! Thanks to everyone who kept the dream alive!

Does that sound right? [/b]Yes!!! The VoyForum!!! That's the one!! After the L* Board was destroyed at DC, the VoyForum was our next major home. This is where Homecoming Queen and all that continuity came into being. Ultraboard had its moments, but everything clicked at VF while we were there. Unfortunately, it was destroyed very quickly due to that entire server being closed. Though the time was brief there, because of all the participation and activity, I consider it one of the three major mb homes we've had: L*, VF and Legion World, of course. The other homes we've had were between the time at VF and LW: Superhero Chat, Ultraboard, Duplicate Man's place, DC's Legion board, DC's Phineas board, Rob's Damn Board and the Jolly Roger forum. I don't think I'm leaving anyplace out other than the LMBP e-group/Yahoogroup (which has been our main rock-solid home base for a looooong time) and the LMBP Outpost. Those aren't technically message boards, though the Yahoo group has felt like it at times. IMHO we've had three major headquarters for significant posting and seven minor ones. And I equate the Yahoogroup to being like what Earth has been to the LSH, while L* was the upside-down rocketship, VF was the yellow building with the sphere-thingy out front and LW could either be the metallic, mobile HQ the Legion had after the yellow one was destroyed or...it could be like Legion World! (Hmm...maybe some of those others could be the mobile metallic one, Talus the rebbot rocketship and the reboot outpost...but I digress.....) I sure hope Legion World is here forever, though! Best mb EVER!
Still "Lardy" to my friends!

I think the Voy Forum LMBP message board (which still exists) is being confused with another forum, where the plug was pulled from underneath the LMBP, because it didn't get enough ad revenue to keep it open for anybody. What that other forum's name is, though, I can't remember at all.

I started out on the old DCMBs a few months before they closed down but was a sporadic poster. At about the same time I found the Yahoo LMBP group and I remember reading my first tag team story and having absolutely no idea what anyone was talking about and who were all these wierd "superheroes"?
I moved to Rob's boards with the rest of the gang, got to know many of you better and started posting more, went to Ships and Giggles, then pretty much settled in here where I seem to have become a regular old motor mouth. And I still have trouble figuring out the team stories!
