Shark Lad, here is the link to the LMB website: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LMBP , if you check in the files section, there are a few places you can find some of those stories, like the first four road trips and the Who Are You and Legion of Message Board Posters thread. If you go to http://www.geocities.com/LMBP_Outpost/index.html , you'll be at the LMBP Outpost, and if you click on the Archives link at the very bottom of the page, you'll find a whole bunch of archived threads including the Five Year Gap thread. Somewhere, the original LMB Enquirer thread is somewhere. Newcru made both these sites, so partially thank him and whoever helped save those threads. Are there anymore threads anywhere? Oh, and Lash was the LMBP Enquirer . To be honest, I thought you were a Alt Id for a few weeks after you first appeared! I remember when I stopped posting for a time too, on three distinct occasions, not to mention a whole half year where I'd only show up on occassion. Sometimes life gets too hectic! Hope this helped!

Yeah, I agree! I think on the Bits O' Legionnaire Business they had some going, there's one their trying to finish. I think we should get a few more big complicated tag team threads going...
What do the rest of you guys say? Finish up the old ones and start some new?

I'm all for it, as long as there are other people willing.
The "Super-Jailhouse" story has an interesting history, as its actually been on three different boards. We started it on Rob's, moved it to Jolly Rogers with us, and moved it here when this place opened.
I suggested awhile back doing a "Secret Origin of Lash's Legion of Super-Bitches" story as a follow-up, which details the formation of that LMB subunit, and brings in some of the newer Legion World posters.

Sharklad, it's fantastic having you & Cobie back-- forgive the term ('cause I myself hate it), but I don't feel like one of the only "old school" LMBers anymore...!
Eryk-- Jeepers! Not sure how comfortable I am with a "Legion of Super-Bitches" story... since I'm trying to change my image this week...!! Will it feature MLLASH Lass, Peepaw MLLASH, Black Lash and Android-MLLASH? *tee hee!*

I seem to remember being particularly scarred by my encounter with him I have a feeling it was myself and Lash, and possibly Shady, who were instrumental in defeating him. I also have a feeling Plaid was involved there somewhere as well... Some of the best adventures started in the Hootchie Hut too. Hell, most of the adventures started, ended and passed through the Hootchie Hut at least a few times. And I miss Mighty Fan Boy Lad. Sasha was great, came up with some of the funniest ideas and generally was a sweetie. I remember the way that we often had to protect his young mind from some of the more extreme moments in LMBP history. Like Globe Girl's assets (even if he did create her in the first place). Heh heh.

I remember a pretty funny "Fin vs. Fur" thread that someone started to let me and Furball have it out ... Cobie's roadtrips, though I wasn't an active member yet, were a blast ... the LMB enquirer thread surrounding one of the first elections was killer too ... if I remember right, that id first appeared in a thread I started during my evil period when I was slamming various LMBPers ... I remember Furball "calling you out" at one point. And all hell breaking loose for a couple of pages. Good times.

Just been re-reading various LMBP stories and chortling away merrily. So much good stuff I'd forgotten about. Like the fact that Donna Tory/Food Maker Kid/Hal Jordan/Spectre *also* being ar Jar Binks was the fault of myself and Ultra Jo. I didn't remember that at all. And in the Five Year Gap story as well as being the traitor I actually redeemed myself and resurected Shark Lad who had died earlier on. There's also a comment during the same story that I'd done the same thing during the trip to JSA world. Unfortunately the JSA road trip is one of the ones missing from the Yahoo site so I have no idea who i brought back there. Read Lash's Anti-LMBP story too and there's so much good stuff in that. The first appearance of Behind You Boy as well as Worthless girl and the Living Retcon, the Retro Three and all the various Anti-LMBPers. he he he. Problem with re-reading things is you start one and then have to go and read everything else and before you know it you've read your life away and you still have no idea what the LMBP is all about.

Actually, I can only take credit for the Outpost and it's various sections. The LMB Archives was Loser's baby.
If I remember correctly, I think my term as Leader was when things really started heating up. It was then that we started getting attacked on the Legionnaires board by disgruntled posters, and I think that was when several longterm posters took leave of absences. I don't remember all the details, but I do remember that things got shaken up during that period.

Shady was amazing ... she wrote me a couple of e-mails when I hadn't posted in a while asking me if I was alright when I was in actuality just busy with school and stuff ... she was one of a kind ...

Crujectra, thats the next part of LMB history that needs to be covered, which is pretty much the transfer from your term to BBC's. This was when some posters (like Loser and Shady for a bit) left, there were attacks, and then the Legionnaires board was lost in the crisis. Things got better though, as the LMBP found the next great board! Plus, a few new posters joined the LMBP, some came back (a certain CK), and we had another great run. Plus I think it was during Stu's term that we ran rampant on the Phineas board . Bevis, Sharky, and everyone- those threads are absolutely hysterical. Furball and Sharklad's ongoing war was great. And I can't read the Road Trip Titans thread about Donna/Foodmaker/Spectre/Hal Jordan/ Jar Jar Binks without literally crying with laughter. That's still one of my favorite characters! It's too bad the JSA and GL road trips were lost before Loser could archive them, I remember them being the funniest two!

So, I think the trasition from Year two to Year three won't be as simple, but we'll roughly say it was when Cru and Dev's term ended and BBC and Beagz term began. This will include the attacks, the loss of the board, the loss of old time members, the new board, the new members, and the crisis!

Funny story- I created Salad Tosser Lord right after Lardy created Hummer Lass and BJ Boy, with the intention of making an even dirtier character. It seems that half the LMBers got it, half didn't. It only came out many months later what "salad tossing" was, and it was funny to see that some LMBers like BBC, Lardy, Faraway and others never really got the joke and thought Salad-Tosser was just a mad scienctist who threw lettuce at people ! Even more funny was that no one really had talked about it, because Sasha was a major poster and was only 15, and like Bevis said, we all kind of were protective of him and didn't want him to know . Once he had stopped posting, it all came out and is very funny, just check the Legion of Message Board Posters thread by pages 30 or so, or somewhere around there!

I dunno, I'm not sure that Salad Tosser Lord isn't actually funnier as a mad lettuce throwing scientist. Did people really not get the joke though? It did lead to my assertation that all the LMBP villains were vegetable based though (Salad Tosser Lord, the Entropy Spinach, Glorith Oyl)

Well, I'm sure that I didn't know what it meant, being a virginal minded good girl, and I'm fairly certain at least a few other posters hadn't heard the term either

Jeepers! I honestly just realized that it was supposed to have the other meaning! I've been assuming he was supposed to be Lardlad's arch-enemy or something!

Hahahaha! That's great!
And Bevis, the more I think about it, the more I think your right about Salad Tosser Lord being more funny as a lettuce hurling mad scienctist...

This has fast-become my favorite thread here, by the way.
I can remember a time when the LMB was practically carried on by Lardy, Dev, Loser and myself... it seemed like no-one else was posting at the time.
And then I went into a non-posting phase myself... whenever I checked the boards it seemed like BBSea and some new guy named Stu were the only ones posting... it was, in fact, either comments made by or e-mail sent from this new guy named STU that prompted my return to posting...
And of course we all know him now as the lovable axe-murderer he is! ;-D
