but Nura's were especially upgraded, perhaps the most successfully.
Which is why I'm more of a fan of Threeboot Nura than the others. Dreamy 1.0 started out as 'faint and get it wrong girl' and Dreamer was literally a victim of her powers, with that whole emo 'I don't sleep anymore, woe is me' schtick going on.

The Threeboot Nura was the only one who was absolutely in command of her powers, and not a passive recipient of them.

I hope when Levitz reads what's happened over the years in the various versions of the Legions, he'll find and keep some of the wonderful things that have been done with the different Legionnaires.
Total agreement there. Under each 'boot' various Legionnaires have been fleshed out in very interesting ways, and it would be neat to see the best ideas skimmed off and applied to a core set of classic Legionnaires (who may or may not be these awkward dopplegangers Johns has been misusing recently).

Yes, I remember a seance with Projectra and White Witch. Imra was there too, wasn't she?

Terrible artist, I thought.

I think you're remembering one of the alternate universe segments from LSH #300. That was illustrated by Jim Sherman.

I thought Jim Sherman was a great artist! I wish he would've done Legion longer.

Yes, but his contribution to issue 300 just seemed... off, to me anyway. I don't know if it was the inking or just he'd changed his style somewhat.

I just remember ultra skinny and sort of twisty bodies with bugged eyes.

And I shouldn't have said he was a 'terrible artist'.

He just wasn't to my taste in that story.
