Everyone's powers have been used better over the years, I think, except maybe for Jan's very limited powers in Universe Prime (but maybe that was an over reaction to his becoming an evil godlike figure in Lost,)
Also possibly because his powers were really the most powerful (could any other Legionnaire not only create krytonite around Superboy, but, if he really wanted to turn Superboy *into* kryptonite, or wave his hands and alter the atmosphere of an entire planet?), but also because the Threeboot had an entire planet full of Tromnians, instead of just Jan, the only survivor.
but Nura's were especially upgraded, perhaps the most successfully.
Which is why I'm more of a fan of Threeboot Nura than the others. Dreamy 1.0 started out as 'faint and get it wrong girl' and Dreamer was literally a victim of her powers, with that whole emo 'I don't sleep anymore, woe is me' schtick going on.
The Threeboot Nura was the only one who was absolutely in command of her powers, and not a passive recipient of them.
I hope when Levitz reads what's happened over the years in the various versions of the Legions, he'll find and keep some of the wonderful things that have been done with the different Legionnaires.
Total agreement there. Under each 'boot' various Legionnaires have been fleshed out in very interesting ways, and it would be neat to see the best ideas skimmed off and applied to a core set of classic Legionnaires (who may or may not be these awkward dopplegangers Johns has been misusing recently).
