Can I get a Cape Coder please? My affinity for cranberry juice and vodka is showing, I know, but it's been a long couple of days...

Well, as long as it's already hurting, you might as well have a drink. Opal Nera?
Caliente, sorry for the slow service. A Cape Cod coming right up.

A Zombie for FC, if you please - and a toast to all the zombie comics out there. Some are good and some you need a stiff drink just to get through....

I would like a glass of wine, something subtle, and not cheap.
And to show I bear no ill will, I, too, shall bestow a gift...

A zombie for FC. Incidentally a Zombie was the first drink I ever got sick on - when I was 16 visiting my cousins in Victoria, B.C.. We went drinking at the Paint Cellar - that was the night club in the Empress Hotel -- and you thought they only served tea.
A Hell's Gate for Deds. How do I make it?
A slushy salted marg for Caliente, stirred with a jalapeno, just to give it a little extra zing.
How about a Saintsbury Pinot Noir, Luna. It's from the Carneros region. I think you'll like it.
Did I miss anyone?

Would you like that Manhattan made with Crown Royal or Maker's Mark?

The Crown please... that American whiskey is too heavy, although my favorite alcohol story is about bourbon.

Two anecdotes about bourbon actually. Bourbon was long the drink of the American frontier. It was quite important in opening the west because before the railway, grain could not be transported to distant markets.
But my story is about Herb Kelleher (sp?) the founder of Southwest Airlines. Looks like death, smokes two packs of cigs a day. In his office at Southwest he had a keg of Wild Turkey bourbon that poured when you pulled the turkey's head. Since the airline was so tied to his personality before he retired the stories always revolved around rumors about his health.
The moral of the tale is that if you're rich you're an eccentric personality no matter what your vices, but someone in a poor position with those vices don't get such a charitable assessment.

Or liver, from the sound of it.
Beer me please, Semi.
