Drinks are on the house to celebrate the return of LW. (You regulars may know that drinks are always on the house, but never mind.) wink

Tequila's the liquor of the day, eh? I guess a marguarita will do - rocks, not frozen.

You may have noticed an archway to the right of the picture window. The archway is blocked off, but when completed will be a tesseract portal to SHAKES new Eruptus Room, a lava-proof lounge and observation dome on the edge of Mt. Eruptus' crater. Troy and Babette will be serving in the Eruptus Room as well. When you pass through the archway, you'll be instantly transported 40 kilometers to the Eruptus Room. You will not notice the transport. In fact, you may come and go through the archway as if it is a normal doorway. We expect the Eruptus Room to be open later this week.

This sounds awesome, Semi!

While we're waiting, how about a few shots of Herradura for Lad Boy and myself?

Dark rum? Yikes! I have a hard time with that stuff.

Anyway, it's a new day, and tequila must be set aside for the sake of Lad Boy. So what's the drink of the day around here? Any suggestions, Semi? I'm always up for something new.

Wow, look at that flirting. You'd think it was September 2003 in SHAKES all over again.

Dedman, you can have Cap Morgan if you like, but may I suggest Myer's Dark Jamaican Rum. It's not so sweet, but has a lot of flavor.

ferroboy, it's still morning here, so my mind isn't quite up to a drink of the day, yet. How about a Manhattan as a consolation prize?

A Manhattan sounds great, Semi! I know it's my mother's drink of choice.

dedman, I tend to avoid drinks that are too sweet precisely because of the hangover factor. Beer tends to be the best for avoiding hangovers. (If only miner around to drink a few pints with me.)

Things are pretty good. I've been busier than ever between work and grad school, but that's not necessarily a bad thing.

Hows things, yourself, Semi?

4 DAYS OFF! Well done you Semi!

How are you all tonight?

I have a huge pile of work to get on with but thought I'd sneak in for a small red wine before I start laugh
