Looks like you'll have to do the stalking by yourself, Kev. Something else else's come up and it looks like I'll be flying to Massachusetts for the weekend. Man and I bought my con ticket and everything! Le sigh. Well, there's always next year...

Awe, I hope everything's okay? I haven't yet successfully made contact with BKV but I have done some reconnaissance and mild stalking. Tomorrow is supposed to be a Michael Chabon/BKV double signing so I might just die of nerdoverload.
On the sketch front, I've had some good luck with commissions (Mon-el and Wildfire!) but not a lot of freebies. I'm on Tony Harris' list but I'm not sure if he'll get to mine cause he's cherrypicking who he wants to do.
Saturday I'm probably going to do more panels but we'll see what happens.

Despite the fact that Cali is avoiding me at comic-cons, I should be at APE next weekend: http://www.comic-con.org/ape/ Anybody else have cons coming up?

Not exactly coming up soon, but I have decided to go to Heroes Con for the first time ever.

Quick note here - seems that LW's own Barry Kitson has just been announced as a guest at this year's Heroes Con in North Carolina.

Supercon is this weekend in San Jose, CA. Do you know the way? I should be there Saturday the 2nd, still debatin' Sunday the 3rd... Legion-connected folks: Ernie Chan (some 70s Karate Kid covers) Mick Gray (WaK era inker) Joyce Chin (drew like one issue of Legionnaires I think) Jim Lee (Legion lover) Stuart Sayger (LoSH 'Vs.' Cards) Mark Waid (Wa of WaK) http://www.super-con.com/

There is never any need to apologize for relocating to Washingtropolis. You will, of course, apologize profusely when you leave. The typical exit speech involves apologizing to the people who were hurt by your scandalous liaisons, the American people whose trust you violated, and finally God and your family, with whom you'll be trying to rebuild a strong relationship after you leave. Speaking of scandalous liaison, check your email.

I totally geeked out this weekend and spent too much money at the Toronto Convention. But hey it was my first real con. The hi/lowlight was almost walking away before paying Darwynn Cooke for a sketch and having him yell after me. Niko Hendrichon who drew Pride of Baghdad is the nicest guy. Apparently he refuses to charge for sketches at any Con where he's a paid guest (told me its the norm in Europe). He was mainly asked to draw lions but he was cranking out really incredible superhero stuff. I don't think he stopped drawing the whole three days.
