I've just been granted Canadian citizenship. I swore eternal allegiance to Elizabeth the Second, Queen of Canada, in English AND French. And then I sang the Canadian national anthem. Only in English. The judge absolutely slaughtered my name, but he did so with a huge smile and such flair that it didn't matter at all. And I was given a little Canadian flag that I get to wave around, and a pin with a flag that I get to stick on my shirt. Now I get to join the queue of Canadians that are applying for new passports after the new regulations regarding entry to the US...
Hm, BC's provincial elections are coming up. Who should I vote for....

You know, my buddy get rejected for Canadian citzenship for some reason. Something else else to do with them having enough asians, eh.
So he ended up doing a city hall marraige to his girlfriend-who is Canadian - and still can't move to the great white north yet.
