Well, with 3 married couples, I'd say the door is open for other Legionnaires to marry and remain in the Legion.
I'd like to see Tinya and Jo married, especially after they've seen that the New Wanderers T&J are hooked up.
I'd like Shady and Lar to marry now, as well, just because I want them to avoid the same path we saw before. I want Shady to have gotten some more gumpsion, too. No more of that carried around by Lar or silly underwear look. She's the only one in that stupid bikini! ugh

I think Henry's work is gorgeous! I wish we could do without the namecards though.

I think it's gorgeous! It has me as excited as I was when I saw Francis Manapul's first Legion cover. I hope this works out better.
...but you don't have a moment where you're sitting there staring at a table full of twenty-five characters with little name signs that say, "Hi, my superpower is confusing you!"

Wow! I want Scott drawing the Legion!
He even makes the ugly costumes look good! And yeah for some of the missing Legionnaires!

I definitely like Koblish better than Clay. Henry artwork reminds me of Tongue Legion, and that's not a very good thing. It's time to have someone snazzy like Manapul drawing the book. Oh, sorry, he is assigned to Superbore...

Not unless you saw the last page of Adventure Comics. Manapul's not free of the Legion yet.
And does anyone else notice that Koblish draws Garth and Ayla actually looking more like twins?

I did not, but now that you mention it, the spiky hair does really give them a style in common. The gritty dots all over many of the uniforms (the three Founders, Brainiac 5 and Ultra Boy, in particular) bug me, particularly since Phantom Girl and Mon-El are drawn so cleanly.

About Henry. Not bad. Some of the characters look good. Some do not. Cosmic Boy and Supermans faces look alike. That's definitely NOT good. But I guess we can work with this artist.
About Koblish: He was a great inker to Perez, but this group shot just does not look too spectacular. But you can't do a final judment without coloring and stuff, so...
By the way I read the first Doom Patrol issue and at least for that one, the backup story featuring the Metal Men was way better than the main story. Maiybe there is a trend showing? I definitely am looking forward to Adv #1 - it IS a lot of comic you get for $3,99, maybe they can somehow make Superboy intersting as well...??? Ah, rather not. But maybe the supporting cast will feature the Titans. I don't buy Titans anymore, so I get a look at what's up with those guys...

I really hope you guys are kidding when you say you like Koblish's drawing better than Henry's. I don't get that at all. Koblish's drawing looks like some high school kid drew it, imho of course.
Artwork aside, I really hate a lot of the new uniforms. I wish every tom, dick, and harry artist that comes along wasn't given free rein to redesign them yet again.

Very rough stuff, but I like that he drew Garth and Ayla in the same pose, and Mon and Shady in the same pose. It sort of ties those characters together, although it also has implications as he didn't choose to put Jo and Tinya, Garth and Imra or Blok and Mysa in the same poses...

I'm not overly fond of Koblish's group drawing, but like CK said, it's not colored or anything.
I DO like Henry's very well, except for many of the costumes.
I don't think it's really fair to compare the two artist drawings shown. Henry's is obviously part of a story, so the expressions match the intent. Koblish's is a poster/flyby, so the angst is missing. It's kind of fun, but cartoony.
The Legion Cards are a very good idea and I hope those here who like to draw will come up with and share, some of their own.
For costumes, since it's not the League of Super-Heroes, I'd prefer a team concept. Individual takes on a team concept, which isn't a new idea, I know, but I'd prefer a cohesiveness in design and look.
Good catch on the card posses, Set. I don't know if he intended any similarities though, other than the twins.

I like the Koblish group pic. I think it rocks!
What I really like about it is the Legion Membership depicted in the shot. It has all the Legionnaires I'd like to see, with the exception of Chameleon Girl, Blok, and White Witch. With those three excluded, I still counted 28 Legionnaires in the image. Aren't they breaking a UP tax code or something with more than 25? I don't care - the more Legionnaires, the better!

The Koblish group pic is a nice developed sketch, but I wouldn't want a regular title looking like that. And the more I see Wildfire's new containment suit the more I reallydislike it...

Koblish's drawing looks like some high school kid drew it, imho of course. Just one of those things I guess, I had exactly the same impression about the second feature with Henry and it's not only Superboy and Cos that look exactly alike. Looking at Henry's website, Superboy's secret identity is Peter Parker. Now I have high school students and maybe one in years that could pull off that Koblish drawing but most of my kids know how to cut-and-paste. I think they can handle Henry's stuff, throw in a truck and a billboard and that's all he gave to this project. Now his website on the other hand, some terrific work, particularly those costumed characters without facial features. Maybe he just mailed it home on his Legion effort but I certainly couldn't see anything dynamic in his drawings.
