Reported by Newsarama at the Baltimore comicon DC Nation panel:

"Q: Is there any Legion of Super-Heroes news about the future of the team?

A: Johns: “The future of the Legion of Super-Heroes is in Legion of 3 Worlds ..."

also

"Q: Is Glorith in Legion of 3 Worlds?

A: Johns: 'She’s mentioned. You might now be happy about it.'"

[I would guess "now" is a typo for "not."]

Noteworthy?

I bet for an Action Comics Weekly again. They also mentioned there might be an indefinite weekly series on the loop.

Bingo! I think you nailed it. Look for maybe an expanded version of Action Comics, with a Superman tale and a second story with the Adult Legion & Supes, or Action will feature a 3-4 part Legion story every year.

Better than no Legion, I guess, with a 50-60K circulation audience.

Action Comics Weekly sounds not so good... the Legion divided into 8-10 pager stories (multipart, of course), sharing its space with the Phantom Stranger, Deadman or the Challegers of the Unknown... or some other stuff I would never spend any money on which then I would have to be paying to get my few Legion moments...

... well, as long as it's the para-classic Legion, I'll go through any lengths, I can't fight it...

Didn't someone on here say a while ago that he had some insider info and that he knew what was going to happen but was sworn to secrecy and that most of us would like what happens?

Yes someone did say that, I cannot remember who as well. I also recall them saying that "some Legion fans will be really happy, while others will not" of coarse this tells us almost nothing, but yes, such a post by someone was made.

I believe the info she referred to was that of L.E.G.I.O.N. but I could be wrong.

I think they are talking two different things:

1) veryvery said she knew what Tony Bedard would do next and that it was not LSH (now we know it will be L.E.G.I.O.N.)

2) Francis Manapul also wrote that he knew what would happen to the Legion on such terms: some would be happy, some not. We can assume he meant the end of LSH as we know it now.

Gee, I'm glad they changed everyone's costumes one more time right before closing up shop yet again. We wouldn't want to confuse the new readers or anything.

updated info - Geoff Johns posted two panels from Legion World #2 - - White Witch, Blok and Dawnstar....here's the link - enjoy!

it's Mordru they are fighting. I really like the special effects that George drew on Mordru's usage of powers. Nice.

Matthew E posted on CBR: "Dawnstar makes a small but perfectly acceptable appearance in a comic book that came out this week."

Which book?

There's a 5-page preview over at Newsarama...liked what I saw/read so far so I jumped back to the first page to read the blurb then was deflated when I saw that it comes out December 3 or somesuch?!?!!

I thought I read somewhere it would be shipping every 2 months, and I can't remember when #1 came out (August?), but I'm sure 2 months later isn't December!

The five page preview is for Lo3W issue #2 and scheduled to arrive this week. Lo3W issue #3 is scheduled to arrive on December 5th.

Crunch, crunch, crunch . . . that's the sound of me eating my own words. As someone who advocated a Wildstormish Legion, I have to say I hope Lo3W is as close as we get and that we don't stay here for long. This title seems to me to be a slide-show of historical Legion-insider references presented by a sickening group of undesirable impostors. Nevertheless, I keep buying the title -- both covers, and will do so until the none-too-soon end of the series.

I did smile when <span class="spoiler_containter"><span class="spoiler_wording">Click Here For A Spoiler</span><span class="spoiler_text">Waidboot Brainy said to reboot Brainy about Lightning Saga Brainy, " How could you possibly trust . . . an adult version of yourself."</span></span> I wish Waid had written the dialog for that scene; it would have been funny instead of clumsy.

Reading, in the same sitting, the final gratuitously gory and typically-masturbatory Johns scene of Justice Society #19 is making me think that, like a presidential term, my four-year-long return to DC comics should come to a conclusion soon.

Yes the meeting of the minds was the only amusing thing in this.

And the killing hasn't even begun in earnest yet. Though the 'heroic death' in this one might upset a few here. I wonder how many heroic deaths there can be before everyone is equally upset.
