BTW, Cru is right about limiting the thread count in the MMB, especially with the election.

My current count is:

The Path, replacing 'Cottage in Scary Woods'
Slim's Club Thread
Office of Security
Frio's thread
Bride of Lonestar Ranger - is this active in FFoD?
SHAKES
Quis' Table & Law office, though that may not be directly involved
Vee's Villa - still active in FFoD?
I guess we can work in another thread or two as they come, weaving in and out of old threads.

Once a thread moves on though from another thread, a conscious effort should be made not to keep bumping it.

We should both (1) be vigilant that the MMB is monopolized and (2) remember that there were days when you had to check page 2 to get the most active topics and those were the more fun days of the MMB, so lazy posters should be rightly punished wink

Man, I think we just narrowly avoided this roleplay being titled FIVE FECES OF DEATH!

I'm sure HWW is relieved! laugh

Note: sometime during FFoD, let's make sure that Cali gets to be a kidnapper at some point, and not just a kidnapee!

Hey! She could kidnap me if she wants to! nod

Also, Everyday Girl, don't think I haven't forgotten about the assault on Slim's bar! Just waiting on your word (no rush though, know you're busy).

By the way, I want to give you guys an example of one of the funniest and most fun moments of roleplaying ever in LW/LMB history.

Namely, right here at the wedding of Viviane and Cobalt. Notice how Kent effortlessly jumped in as minister when Matlock wasn't posting and then watch as comedy and mayhem ensue. From the post I linked to the end of the thread, it pretty much all happened in one night in about three hours.

That's the kind of magic I can't wait for laugh . And I should have a home Internet connection within the next two weeks or so (I hope)...

(I just reread this whole thing and laughed the whole time. Despite advancing the story, despite so many posters, just about every post has at least one one-liner in it laugh )

My IT person (Lady Cobalt) is attempting to negociate a better deal than splitting the cost exactly half-way down the middle. Next she may even try to use her feminine wiles on me, but I hope to counter by making her watch football and the history channel.

Note: Mods, I think we'll need "untamed streets" marked with the FFoD tag. I think the Rookery, the EGSC, SHAKES, etc. are just side stops and won't be necessary to do that with.

That would leave this thread, The Path, Secluded Pool, Club Cobalt and Streets as the currently active FFoD tie-in threads, as we're letting Security Office drop for now.

Sounds good. The five other threads should be good and probably the max. The stops are good too, but we need to be sure there aren't *too* many.

PS - the Cobie/Frio fight takes place before the assault on Slim's. I'll straiten it out as it goes on. Such is the power of Grand LMB Historian.

The two nasty bastiches that beat up Everyday Girls Daddy are still laying on the floor at Slim's Place...

O'course I kinda kicked their asses already, but if he wants seconds... lol But wasn't he on some path, somewhere? hmmm

Yeah Far, its still real early so hope right in! Right now:

(1) Untamed Streets - zombies attacking Legion World!

(2) Slim's Bar - a small group of LMBers are battling Slim (appears to be winding down, progressing to next segment)

(3) the Path - Hrun, Rockhopper Lad, Clive Bot and the Royal Inquisitor are on some sort of quest.

Other than that, Frio has not only been 'taken over' by some sentient known as 'The Empress', she's also murdered Lonestar Ranger. She last was seen in 'Secluded Pool', but not sure where she'll pop up next.

I think that's mainly where things are right now...

Since Cobalt's not there, I did the best thing I could think of--put Tamper in mortal peril too!
