Perhaps there should be crossover events in other threads or forums... you know... useless posts that force you to read threads you wouldn't normally read just to get the complete story

Well? if rather than killing a beloved poster, why dont we have him sent Faraway in some dramatic explosion or stuff like that. In that way and in the best comic book tradition we get "no body no death" and he/she can come back at the right time.
