The way Darkseid umtilmately destroys Saturn Girl is impressive, and certainly helps explain Imra's reduced presence 5YL...
This stuff is so good, I'm jealous I didn't write it.

Lovely stuff, a living proof of how cool the whole 5-year-gap concept was. And I always loved Keith's art on it due to its intricacy and more graphical look. Definitely not run-of-the-mill superhero art. But then again, I always felt it should have been a Vertigo book.

And issue 115... "Dream beasts" was as good a way as any to explain away the Super-Pets during a time DC had no intention to ever use them again. That is one issue I'd really like to see exist!

Agreed on the Dream Beasts thing. Even if I'm not in love with the idea, too many actual Legion writers would happily pretend that much of that sillier Silver Age stuff didn't exist than try to tap-dance around and make some sense of it.

I'm of the opinion that there's no reason to revisit the TMK Legion. I *loved* that run, but as later issues proved, the world that they set up doesn't necessarily spawn good stories. The only story that could and probably should be told about that Legion has already been told.

TMK was exciting as a transition back from the abyse thing so I guess i'd agree. Once the transition is made, time to move on to positive things, with a bit of thread clean-up.
The gap period though wouldn't be TMK. It might be worth a read, though not sure I'd want to be the writer that had to top what was already done at that web sight. It's been awhile since I read it but I recall it as fabulous.
Who gets the credit for that?
