I see that the reports we received at Science Police Ranger Division Headquarters were true.

The Emerald Eye of Ekron has surfaced in the cyber-space community of Legion World.

Chief Zendak will be very interested in this news.

Hmm. You know when we built Legion World we didn't get a zoning variance for any businesses let alone two publications.

I'm afraid we'll have to implement a new tax that will affect all Legion World members should this continue. Of course the businesses will pay the lion's share, probably in the 80% and up bracket. The respective owners of those businesses will also be classified in the special 110% bracket payable through the end of time or the next reboot, whichever comes first.

How naive I was to think that I could exist within the plush but narrow confines of SHAKES and ignore the ominous political rumblings outside my triple marine-varnished authentic saloon swinging doors. I suppose I shall have to lend my superior espionage skills, inherited from my parents Invisible Kid and .... well I won't reveal that now. Let's just say it's better to keep my other power under wraps so as to keep the enemy off guard.

I am encouraged to see the arrival of a second newspaper, of an avowedly different political outlook, at Legion World. May the spirit of open debate take hold and flourish, to the betterment of society.

Eye-witness News Report

Last night, in an obvious attempt to buy votes, the political muckracker masquerading as UP Vice President Winema Wazzo was seen swilling Bgztlian Blues in SHAKES (by far the hottest nightspot on Legion World) She was even heard to offer buying rounds for everyone in an effort to gain votes (and information.)

Our undercover reporter notes that she quietly disappeared when the mysterious Law Enforcement official, Space Ranger (newly arrived on Legion World) tracked her to the watering hole.

What could this Bgztlian barfly's nefarious purpose be in attempting to foment revolution, chaos, and discord on our beautiful little corner of the universe? We don't as yet know but can report that she is now the focus of three distinct investigations.

Deputy Leader of Legion World, the Honorable Erik Davis Ester announced yesterday that he was digging deep into the sordid details of the mystery woman's life. He seemed convinced that he would soon be able to expose her chicanery and reveal the truth behind the woman's lies.

Also investigating are the aforementioned Space Ranger at the behest of the UP Ruling Council and the insistance of VP Wazzo (the real Winema) and this unbiased news organization.

Sentient, the Science Police do not currently believe in the existance of a 'second' Eye of Ekron.

The second Eye of Ekron, was previously reported to be in the possession of one Leland McCauley, and is believed to have vanished in the cosmic phenomenom commonly called the 'reboot.'

Unfortunately, McCauley's death ended all inquiry into the whereabouts of this 'second' Eye of Ekron.

If you have solid, verifiable information concering a 'reboot' of this artifact, are you willing to share it with the Science Police?

EYE WITNESS NEWS -- UPDATE

Interesting, isn't it, that as soon I started shining the Emerald Eye of Ekron on Legion World in righteous anger, it seems that the troublemakers have all but faded away! Guess they couldn't stand the glare.

Why, I guess I could proclaim myself a defender of Truth & Justice but I think someone's already using that line (someone that owes little old me an apology, BTW)
