The shortening of the elections is an affront to the rights of all sentients involved in this election. First it's the shortening of the delcaration period, next they'll say you only have 15 hours to vote. I've been to the 20th century, and trust me we do not want to go back! However, the elections must go on. All I can offer is a candidate with the promise that, under my watch, elections will go forth fairly and uninterrupted. If you elect me, I will RESTORE the original length of the declaration process, and PROTECT the original length of campaigning and voting. You have my word as a sentient... and as a Legionnaire!

Well, in SoM's defense, I think he was reacting to a bunch of us saying the elections were getting kind of boring. And to be honest, I kinda thought they were. But if we're going to hang him up and tar and feather him, I'm all for it! He's a tyrant! A tyrant!
