Prior to that a vegetarian one in a little pizzeria in Montparnasse, Paris. With artichoke heart, eggplant, brocolli and sliced tomato. Not enough meat for my taste.....

Coming across to NY next month - can anyone recommend a great place to get pizza?
Lombardi’s Pizza
32 Spring Street (at Mulberry)
212-941-7994

The first pizzeria in New York, established 1905. You’ll know when your there when you see the line out the door. They have the second best pizzeria in New York.

The first goes to Grimaldi’s, 19 Old Fulton St, which is in the Dumbo section of New York (under the Brooklyn Bridge on the Brooklyn side). Around the corner is the original Jacques Torres Chocolate, a famous chocolate shop.

If anyone is curious, part of my job is to show people a good time in NYC and other cities in the US. So NYC pizza is something we do sometimes.

John's Pizza, on Bleecker Street in the Village.
Count me in on giving this an extremely high reccomendation. You can't go wrong here! Also, its in a really awesome area of NYC.

Also, John's Pizza has the best meatball subs I've ever had in my life.

Wow! I feel like going to NYC just for that. You can't get a decent sub around here.

I go to a place by the airport, since it's on the way home. Best pizza in town, as far as I'm concerned. The sad thing is that I've ordered from there so many times they recognize the sound of my voice wink

My usual order: Hamburg pizza with extra cheese, and a side order of french fries. Every now and then I'll get a pepperoni craving, so I'll either go full pepperoni or I'll do a hamburg-pepperoni combo.

If I really want to throw them, I'll order Chester Chicken or maybe even a sub. That usually shakes their confidence in whether or not it's me on the phone laugh

Some people are like slinkys: not really good for anything, but they bring a smile to your face when you knock them down a flight of stairs
