Okay, Legionnaires, this is the BIG Question! Which Legion Age is Your alltime favorite Age? Which Version of the Legion will be the one You will forever refer to as the "Golden Age of the Legion"?

I almost had to flip a coin to pick between the two that are currently leading.

Well, Cockrum never drew Dawnstar (until the cover of the upcoming Legion Companion), and there's no W in "Levitz," but otherwise ... {g}

Well, I've broken the current tie, at any rate.

Shame, Shame, Shame! MY most beloved "Age/Reality" isn't even leading animore! (Give You three guesses which Age I voted) By the way, boy with UltraPowers,and Varalent, should I start another poll later on, one who gives questions for both least and most favorite Ages? Or, by that way, more opions than just one per question? Graybird, I'm sorry for that typo in "Levitz"(did I actualy spell that with a"W" instead of a "V"? How embarassing...); I'm a german who perfectly READS Your language, but can't SPEAK and barely adequately WRITE in english, so cut me some slak, okay? As for Dawnstar... don't be silly! With "Cockrum Version" I didn't mean just the time Dave actually DREW the Legion, but the entire ERA, where his influence was felt. Let's face it, Dawnstar was introduced in a time as the Legionnaires wore still their Cockrum-inspired costumes-- and that didn't change until Levitz returned.Cockrum was the single most important factor for the Legion of the 70s-- so that Age/Version is named after him.

I wondered if the "Lewitz" was a Germanism.
If you do another poll, I'd suggest breaking up the eras even further, in addition to offering the choice of voting for more than one. I'd seriously have considered voting for the "Reboot" Legion, as I think the first year of the reboot is quite possibly the best the Legion's ever been, but I have no desire to vote for Emerald Vi and Sneckie.

So far as Sensor is concerned, I share Your oppinion, and what's more: I actually came to LIKE the character, as she's got a lot of spunk and compassion-- just not as an aspect/version/incarnation of Projectra. "Sensor the She-Serpent is the totaly revamped, troughoughly modernized, improved and reenergized Princes Projectra!" PUH-LEASE!! As for Emerald Vi: from the "Reboot"-books I DID read this storyline always ranked as one of my favorites (again that word!), right behind the "White Triangel/Andromeda"-storyline, my #1. But I DO think that it was badly realized. When most of the Legion's core members, those who are the most central and important to the series, were STILL in the past after the second crossover, I stopped collecting the series. Though I still picked up the oscassional Comic-- such as that two-parter, wher the "Reboot"-Team meets their past versions-- all of them. (that story unfortunately CONFIRMED my suspicions, that Sensor was INDEED supposed to be the new Projectra...) Your'e probably right: the "Reboot"-Age is probably the best Age of them all-- the Legion was recreated by people who grew up on them, and loved the Legionnaires, as opposed to being created by peopel who needed to write some feature to make their money. But it isn't MY favorite Age, all the same. By the way, which Age DID You vote for, in the end? (My #1 Age was, of course, Cockrum's.) Your Suggestions for further polls are noted.
