After my recent capture by Fat Cramer and Cobalt Kid, I have remained in jail awaiting my trial. I do not repent my sins or my evil ways. I am a martyr and demand to be released.

Until that time, I offer you this: a note passed to me by another alt ID. This bit of evidence may help you with another investigation that should be consuming much of your time.

I am willing to talk in exchange for amnesty. There is trouble on the horizon, and the Alt ID's that have festered here on Legion World for months will lash out. I refuse to speak with Cobalt Kid, Fat Cramer or Blockade Boy.

The Inquisition lives on.

Well, at least he's confessed to sin and evil ways. I guess we won't have that burning at the stake after all. And to think I paid for front row seats.

No FC, now thats he's confessed we still have to have the burning so's he can meet his maker pure of sin.

I hate the Inquisitor enough to not care about anything he says, but could this be a serious security issue?

Many alt ID's, such as Tarik the Mute, Tarik the Mute's Android, Giant Robotic Lesbian and others have been quiet for some time.

I have it on good authority that one of the Alt ID's that has been quiet is very near the top. You might say he's Mr. Brande's right hand man. If only the reboot had been kinder to him.

If he has access to the Brande fortune, we could be in for some serious insurgency trouble. Those alt-ids will do anything for money.

Maybe all the Alt ID's have been captured and are being held in some super space prison camp.
do we as non alt ID's have either the right or indeed the duty to try to find and rescue them?

I would have to discuss any amnesty with my co-leader and get input from our deputy leader, Stoopid Cat.

I cannot guarantee any amnesty, but would need to know what information you have that would allow us to grant you amnesty. Once we have that information, my co-leader and I (with Stoopid Cat) can evaluate your information and determine what sort of reward you would deserve.

In the meantime, I will look into speeding up your trial, so that you do not lanquish in jail for too long.

Perhaps Stoopid Cat, himself an Alt ID, can act as a liason to the other alt ID's if they truly are planning a revolt.

The last thing we need is another Civil War. Of course, any who act out of turn may find themselves face to face with a Security Officer.

I am in agreement with my co-leader regarding speeding up your trial. However, prior to discussing an amnesty we will need to have quite a bit more information. Quislet Esq., my co-leader is much more familiar with the intricacies of the legal system so I will let him take the lead on this with you and will confer with him (and Stoopid Cat, our Deputy Leader) when the time is right.

Although the Inquisitor has no wish to speak to me, I'll let this be known:

There is no way he'll get the amnesty of being released--EVER. He's under arrest for throwing a fire-bomb at SHAKES, which was only saved by the heroism of Blockade Boy, and then for the murder of Giant Squid.

You'll have to reveal some very big information, Inquisitor.

How strange... Stoopid Cat himself hasn't been seen lately. Could he possibly be involved in this plot? Or perhaps he is being tortured by the other alt IDs?

Stoopid Cat doesn't get on too well with the Royal Inq. - opposing views on lifestyle, you might say - so I expect Stoops is just pussyfooting around until this Inquisitor business is resolved.

These Alt-ID's could be a danger to our stability here in Legion World. Think about it. They could be anywhere or anything! Tey could be your next door neighbor or that man, woman, or cat sitting next to you at SHAKES!! And now they are planning something violent here. I believe action must be taken to keep this from becoming a volitile situation. It is at this time that we need our leaders to take clear, decisive action against thist threat.

I suggest we get names from the Inquisitor, let him free, and then burn the lot of them.

Seems like paranoia to me. What next? Discrimination against telepaths? biomorphs? Math Teachers?

We've been down this road before and it caused nothing but trouble!

F.R.I.E.N.D. should probably get a second goal because it seems as though the Royal Inquisitor was just blowing smoke. He hasn't gotten back to me or Varalent.

Blowing smoke? Do we have any anti-smoking legislation here?

Anyways, I have set up an alternative non-profit: R.I.C.O. = Royal Inquisitor: Complete Opposition. That should cover any eventuality.

Besides, I suspect he may have been involved in the sabotage that caused LW to be down last week.

Doesn't anyone else find it to be too much of a coincidence that such a thing would occur just after he mentioned that the Alt IDs were up to something?

No other Alt ID has even expressed displeasure at how things operate here on LW (other than Thora but what do you expect from her!)

But, given that R.I. is securely locked up, how could he sabotage Legion World, if he didn't have co-conspirators?

Good point EDE. And now it seems strange that there has been a significant lack of an alt ID presence for the last few weeks, after the Inquisitor's warning.

Where have they all been? We can't be too sure, I'll have to keep my agents in the field, looking...

Well, I've noticed a lot less grafitti being written on me. The alt ID's are hiding out, but where?

I know more than a few walls around Legion World. I'll put the word out.

Let's not forget that they might be laying low, hoping that there isn't some sort of backlash against Alt IDs. I hope they realize that peaceful, Legion World loving Alt IDs have nothing to fear!
