These days, I particularly miss the 80s LSH. Both Reboot and Threeboot have both been largely about revisiting the Silver Age/young teen LSH, which is all fine and well, but it's been 17 years (1/6 of a century!) since we've seen the Levitz/young adult version.
The childhood friend Exnihil never had.

I miss Gates terribly.
But I also miss the "New Kids" Crew: Wildfire, Dawnstar, Blok, Invisible Kid II and White Witch. They were the best for me. I think I'm going to have to dig out the "Edge of Nowhere" arc again.
(I also miss Tellus, Kinetix and Quislet).

aw...thanks a lot! YOu guys made me cry while reading the thread. *sniff sniff* I miss a lot of many good legion characters ranging from the Wanderers all way to Uncanny Amazers (that includes the Phrenology Lad)! *sniff sniff*

I miss the continuity where Karate Kid died defending his wife and her people, and she eventually came back to the Legion as one of the more powerful, sure of herself and most potent leaders. I miss Sensor Girl with thirty years of history providing a backdrop for her characterization.

I miss taking my luch money and going down to the corner store (do those exist anymore ?).Where, after searching through a couple of squeaky, revolving comic book racks, I'd find the latest issue of Superboy and the Legion of SuperHeroes. Then I'd go home, make a peanut butter and jelly sandwhich (always), and get lost in a world of heroes and villians for all the ages. It just didn't matter what rotten things had happened to me in my life to that point. Those teens AND their remarkable creators always delivered me to some place better.
