Welcome aboard! Glad you found your way over, hopefully it was my link in my message to LegionPics about your Dawny drawing that got you over here.
If you need an Avatar that is more to your suiting, just ask. If you provide the pic or the reference, we'll be glad to add it for you.

Nothing at all. Just letting you know you aren't restricted to the choices we already have. A lot of posters like to have a special one and usually rotate them often.
Just trying to make you feel more at home.

Don't worry! I understood exactly what you meant! I already feel at home(ok, I feel more like on a playground, but... I'M HAPPY TO BE HERE!) Don't worry, guys, I'm not always that hysterical! It's just that I knew for months that this place existed, but it scared me at first! Thank to our universally loved Lighnting Lad, I dared to post here! Did I say I was HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You seem familiar to me. Did you used to hang with the LMBP for a short time, either at the YahooGroup or at the DC Boards?

Welcome, David, and would he be the first one here from France?
Methinks "Frog" actually is a play on a slang term for the French, long used by many Britons and now by some Americans. I'm glad David can take it up with a bit of humor.
I note here what I alluded to in the Dawnstar thread in Bits: Not everyone in the USA has taken part in the French-bashing that has gone on this year. Nor do all of us want to.
Whether either government's actions are proper or well-reasoned (and I do happen to oppose the more recent war), that shouldn't at all affect one's respect for the achievements of individuals in each country and culture.
I, for one, still drink French wine. And relish "French toast," for that matter, and call it that, especially with lots of real butter on it {grin}

Don't even get me started on politics and US foreign policy Grey! In fact, there are a lot of people that are disturbed by the Bush administration these days, so I hope it's never an issue here at Legion World !

Your right, I used to hang(mostly in the shadow) with the LMBP (on the YahooGroup and DC boards). And you're right, it was for a short time(I don't remember why it was so short).

One day, I ate "radioactive fried frogs legs"(also called "freedom frogs"), and the next day I discovered I could jump high. I also gained a thread-killer ability(also known as "how come nobody ever posted on that thread after my post?"). And I must say my sense of humor never recovered. I hate toads only when it's love season.

Well, I must say I still don't understand why many people in France and in the USA can't get over the fact that our governements didn't get along on one particular subject, and the fact that suddenly everybody was yelling at the other side was pathetic(on both side). I'm happy to see that many people in real life(and on various message boards) can see things with more perspective than our leaders. That's my opinion, of course.

I already answered about my power(see above). I'm not sure I want to translate "Frog Kid" in french(okay, that would give "Gosse Grenouille" or "Gamin Grenouille" or maybe "Enfant Grenouille"). Many super-heroes names sounds silly when translated. That's why most of the time we keep the original name: "Sooperman", "wonder wooman", "speeder man",... How do you perceive them, by the way? Does "Shrinking Violet" sounds to you as strange as "Violette Rétrécissante"?
