It has the power to turn it's target into *snerk* fine British Cuisine. Zaps Space Ranger turning him into a serving of spotted dick.

*Falls on Tamper Lad, Breaking Britishizer into several mahngled pieces, reverts to normal, gathers up Ice Cream flies off to get it to the evidence freezer before it melts*
Truth and Justice shall Prevail! (Mess with me again, the Ice Cream gets eaten, slowly, one tantalizing spoonful at a time...)

<Pulls out backup Britishizer blasts Space Ranger again this time changing him into a pile of English Trifle.>
I am not to be trifled with space ranger, I always knew you were a lightweight.
Now where's that Quank fellow, I have to get him for ruining Caliente's fine coiffure earlier.
<Kicks pile of trifle into the pool. Flies off>

Tamper, Sweetie, please try to remember who it was that talked Cali into giving you another chance.
Leaving my Abin alone would be a good idea...

Pagan Lass,
I guess I do owe you and Cobie for playing LMB matchmaker but Abin's been a thorn in our side too long. As a concession, I'll let you choose what *snerk* fine British delicacy I turn him into.

OK, where do we stand regarding the Election issue?
Here’s the current Bill, in light of longtime and recent experiences:
The Eryk Davis Ester/Abin Quank/Cobalt Kid/Princess Crujectra Election Bill:
On the Leader being honest This is the role of the Deputy Leader. The Deputy leader could double-check and just ensure that there is no dishonesty going on. By making it an overt part of the process, there is no need for hard-feelings—“hey, that’s the Deputy Leader’s job, dude!”.
Process Perhaps a specific alt ID, designed solely to run elections is created. It is called ‘Election Tyrant’ or something like that (tribute to old Loser Lad Alt ID on DCMBs). The password is given to the Leader and Deputy Leader. The votes are sent in and tabulated. The PMs are all then subsequently erased. The leader sends on the password to the new leader and new deputy leader. They then change the password so the old leader and deputy leader no longer have it.
Why no Polls and what about Alts Well, the two people in charge (Leader and Deputy Leader) would see who were sending them the PM's for starters. This is directly the reason we cannot use the polling system. Then those two would have to consider if any were alts. Various LMBers can help, as we have a solid idea of who many of the alts are on LW.
Third Permanent Monitor A third monitor, the best choice being Spellbinder/Crujectra could also serve in the election process. Cru is a founder on LW, a longtime respected member of the LMB (from day 1, which was six years ago), and has a wide knowledge of who the alts are. Plus, Cru has been leader twice before, and has expressed that there is no longer a desire for her to run for leader again. Spellbinder would be a permanent third monitor for future elections, on the premise that she never runs again. Any real questions on an alt may then fall to her as we have a definitive way to find them if we must.
What if a PM is deleted from the Alt’s mailbox? Ah, here is the final part of the plan: A thread is created by the leader about the election. Whenever any LMBer votes (re: sending a PM to the Alt), they post in the thread saying “Hey, I voted for leader”. This allows the Deputy Leader and Crujectra to know exactly who has voted. Thus, if by some chance in hell a PM was deleted from the Alt’s mailbox, the Deputy and Cru would know, b/c they’d have a list of who voted right in front of them.
Other important Election topics to consider
- Campaigning in the MMB—it is currently the preference of the majority (those who are giving their opinions) that a limited number of threads be used in the MMB: 1 thread per candidtate to campaign. The Shoutbox and the signatures are also fair game, but no other non-MMB related events on Legion World.
- Discussion on Voter Registration—currently, we are still discussing what this means and if this is necessary.
- One ID/Alt ID per Person is allowed to Run.
- No Alt IDs are allowed to Vote (re: One ID/Alt ID per person is allowed to vote).
- Nomination Process: Self-nominations or some other form? Currently, Self-Nominations are the method, and otherwise voted on, will remain so.

My own views on Voter Registration:
First, I appreciate Tamper Lad weighing in on the situation.
Second, I'm not exactly sure what that means and if its necessary, since I'm not sure who we would be trying to 'un-register'. Only Alts, I presume, although most of us fully expect no one to use their alts in the election. Once their caught, it must be made public to the LMB populice at large.
Am enjoying all opinions, and look forward to more. As I may have limited computer access from now until tomorrow night, hoping this Bill goes forward and others endorse it with their support.

DB, I think what will most likely happen is that we’ll wait until the Constitution is written and then have a full on election. I’m looking forward to seeing you and others who have never been a part of our elections to see how much fun they are Can’t wait for it myself! I think we should finish the Election process stuff up and then proceed directly to what the Leader’s powers are next ( my own ), but that is my opinion, and I acknowledge the rights of the two chairs to set their agenda as they wish. Technically, it's not a bill, since we don't have a legislature yet. As such, there is no need to ratify the constitution piecemeal, as that will just cause confusion. However, with the tacit approval of a quorum of the convention, I will have the document prepared as a "LMB leader elections" clause, or Article 1 or some such. In the interim, I think allowing debate to go on through tomorrow morning on this issue is a good idea.

I'm not opposed to that per se. Though personally I was thinking that it might be time to start discussion on the role of the Security Office.

It seems like the basis for the Clause and we can see if others want to add/change things. Should I repost my thoughts on the Powers of the Leader, or wait?
