You know, I just realized: the first time ever that I don't try to involve myself in a love triangle/quadrangle/whatever, and actually try to help people get together--and suddenly, I'm the bad guy!
And all I wanted was to see Cali use her feminine charms on Tamper so he couldn't post to the "Kill this thread contest"...

<Silent Cat Laughter>
I think he was refering to his wife's reaction to girls who try to use their wiles...

Remember : It's not technically a suckerpunch if you yell ''DEFEND YOURSELF SPROCKER!'' two seconds before you let him have it.

Would you accuse me of impropiety in this hall? I can't stop the overenthused patriots gathering outside the convention.
They are so patriotic, how can we deny them a role in the LMB constitution?

Well, barring any more late arrivals, it's time to start the convention. The first order of business is to select the moderator and other officers...

Well, considering the LMBP is a private organization, then your "patriots" really have no say in how we govern ourselves. The LMBP holds a seat on the Legion World Council, which governs the planet, but we are not the government of Legion World. So, technically, what we do here is none of their business

Au contraire Princess,
As guests of the LW planetary Council, the status of the LMB is ultimately responsible to the general populace of LW. I would heed the patriots call. I think they're on the verge of storming the Office of Security.
My there certainly the air of a CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS around here. I wonder what could have precipitated it?

Tamper Lad, your ploys, while clever, will not work. You see, upon heading to the Office of Security, word got around that the hero of the LW populice, Cobalt Kid was around, and the potential crisis ending up becoming a rip-roaring Security Officer kegger. Why, at this very instant, there's a crazy game of marco-polo going on in Shark Lad's pool.
Anyway, as to nominating officers and moderators: I'd like to suggest Kid Prime, since he was last leader, and Spellbinder, since she is essentially the de facto leader of the LMB whenever there is a crisis. There is no arguement against this: history proves it time and time again.
And the citizens have absolutely no say in how we run the LMB, as the line b/t the LMB and LW has become increasingly firm at the request of the LW founders, Lightning Lad and Nightcrawler. Anything to go against this would be in direct violation of their request.

Enough Double-speak. I call for the immediate adoption of the working paper I circulated amongst the intelligent cats, nostalgists and evil cheerleaders this weekend.

Well, I can't speak as to myself, but history has shown that Spellbinder is the woman for the job. As far as I am concerned, we are all of us at your disposal, Princess. Of course, I would be honored to serve at your side...

<eyes guards suspiciously, as they seem to be recieving an arrest warrant... stands>
We will be denied no longer. This process is a sham. Constitutional reform will come, but not from this old-boys network.
For the Senate and People of this World, I declare that this age is ended and a Novus Ordo Seclorum has begun. Even now the bright promise of a new dawn rises in the east.
<teleports away to a secret undisclosed location as the guards move in to arrest him>

You know, this whole "betrayal from within" thing has gotten a bit out of hand lately. Perhaps we should start, oh I don't know, screening applicants? Like even a little? Just a thought

Once he walks out, he'll lose his chance to push forth his issues...which from what I understood, where quite a lot of things. Well, we started off with a bang at least
