I forgot to ask...anybody going to take a laptop? We need a digi-pic!!
Tomorrow one of us MUST start a "This sucks 'cause WE didn't get to go to Boston" thread and we'll talk trash and spread horrible rumors about you guys (even if we have to make something up)

Yep, I'll have my laptop there, as previously mentioned, as well as my digital camera...
Now if the convention floor is a hot spot, that'll be fun...

There'll be plenty of photos of all kinds I'm taking for my con reports, so I'll get one of the LW crew, if we find each other. =)
My friend has a laptop, so it might get on the 'net quickly.

You know, Kinetix dear, you don't look anything like I thought you would. I was expecting more hussy and less hunky. Love the tie dye Phoenix shirt.
I'm too sexy for my shirt.

I'm a mystery, wrapped in an enigma, wrapped in a fiery tshirt.
Best thing ever said about me, by someone who had been a friend for years, "What, Foenix is GUY?!"
I've yet to let her live it down.

See you all later today or sometime this weekend! Can't believe I actually managed to pull this trip off without something interfering with it at the last minute!
BTW, if anyone can get their hands ona copy of JSA Classified #3 for me I would surely appreciate it. My CBS didn't have it and I'm dying to read it!
EDITED TO ADD: Or is this something that I should be able to pick up at the show. Never been to a Con before so I just have no clue as to what may or may not be available.

I have just had a text from Faraway Lad. He is in the air on his way to Boston.
Look after him for me please.
Pass me my Super Lollypop.

Did we arrange a meeting time for Friday? I know we said we'd meet at the DC Booth, but did we say when?

Oh! And don't be afraid to come up to me and say hi to me with Foenix or Kinetix as a name. I'll respond. Alternately, feel free to wander around shouting "FOENIX! KINETIX!" and I'll eventually come a-runnin'. J

CNN was reporting that the Boston airport was being shut down this morning because of high winds or something. It was on as I was leaving for work. I hope everyone gets into town okay.

Yeah, even in Vermont, we've got a high-wind warning until 4pm this afternoon. It's quite breezy out there right now.

Maine was supposed to get wind gusts of up to 70 MPH this afternoon, from what I heard here at work this morning. Hope it's better by morning... I have no interest in fighting the winds all the way to Boston in the morning.

Not sure Cru, as I won't be there, but I know Pov will, so a call/email/PM to him might help out. I just realized that by Friday night, I'll be one of the only ones still checking the thread that can answer questions like these. Boy is LW in trouble...

Didn't we say between 1:00 and 1:30 at the DC booth so we could all go to the Dan Didio session together (which starts at 2:00 I think)

If I wear the cone bra, I won't be able to reach the steering wheel 1:00 - 1:30 sounds good. I was planning to shoot for 1:00, to give myself a chance to find out how to get into the place and register or whatever you have to do

Miner here.
Just letting folks know in case somebody's out there to read this - evidently there are some problems in ol' Boston and flights are being delayed here. I was due to arrive at 8:40 PM - my plane won't leave until about 10PM now.
Even the gods are afraid of what will happen when we meet, it seems.

Ok, the person I'm planning to stay with is surprised I planned to go to the con tomorrow. And has JUST NOW informed me we're not going on Sunday. Would've been nice to know this BEFORE plans were solidified, since I'm driving three hours for this.
Now I'm all annoyed. Even if I did seemingly manage to get tomorrow back on the schedule.
