Originally posted by Spellbinder: My convention ticket showed up in the mail yesterday, so I guess I'm ready to roll. I'm planning to swing by the train station this weekend to get an idea of how this whole train thing works (I've never ridden on a train before).
Of course, that doesn't mean I'm not gonna change my mind next week and decide to take my car after all I don't know how long a drive down would be, but from what I've seen of the train schedule, you either have to leave the convention early (and not go out to dinner with us) or you won't be home until 2am. Although on the train ride home, you get to read any comics you buy.

And I think the parking at the commuter rail is free on the weekends. I also think they fill up early during the week though

And DON'T scare away the talent... Yes, Pov, I'm talking to you! (PS Just 'cause Cramer's Canadian, you don't have to offend her, either (that's a Niagara reference, for the rest of you))

... looking at the schedule; it'd probably be easier to gather 1:30-1:45ish at the DC booth.
Forums aren't the best place for people to gather, especially when we don't all have faces to go with names.
As me, Quis, Lou, Pov, Faraway, Cobie, and Miner (and we'll know Cramer by her pic) will mostly recognize each other, all others can just look for the big geeky reunion and join in.

Originally posted by Quislet, Esq.: I have been told that I look like Michael Moore with shorter hair, as I remember. Qius has previously posted that I look like Kevin Matchsstick (from Mage), but I think he was being generous. Add 40 pounds and lighten the hair with both brown and salt-and-pepper, and maybe I'm in the neighborhood. Also - I have more hair upstairs than Mage II era, but less than Mage I, although my ponytail is getting pretty long (for a guy).

1:30 at the DC booth sounds good. The other Crisis Counseling panels I've been too have filled up fast, so it would be good to go in early and as a group.
I so resemble the stereotypical comic book fan that it would be pointless to describe myself.

Hey! I was just trying to be helpful. I didn't even make ONE "Sonic Boom" joke thankyouverymuch. I didn't even repost the -Pov in Saturn Girl's pink bikini- pic.
SO how's the con and what are you doing on the computer when there's comic booky goodness and a LMBP gathering going on?
