Oh, jeez. >< I just found this thread and... yeah. I have nothing to offer but my sincerest regards and all the good thoughts I can manage. I'm so glad to hear things have gone well so far. Good luck with everything, hon. More !! Gently, of course.

I'm glad to hear everything is going well and I'm sure the worst is past.
Like Quis says, remember to look after yourself just now Caroline. Don't get up and try to make everything business as usual. Take the time to care for yourself, for a change.
Scott, If you have to get tough with her and threaten to take all of her books and her TV away if she doesn't behave then just do it mate.
Sometimes you just have to be cruel to be kind.
Best wishes to you both,
John.
Be lucky

Just a quick update. Caroline is doing real good. So good that I'll be bringing her home in the morning. She continues to amaze the nurses who have other patients that won't move from the bed while Caroline is making laps around the nurses station. Her doctor is pleased with her recovery and is ready to let her go.

I'm so glad to hear that things are going well. But please, make your wife rest. She's been through a lot.

So glad to hear things are progressing well, but I'll echo the others by saying keep an eye on her once she's home. She still needs to rest, especially once she's home.

Caroline & Scott, you’ve been in my thoughts these last few days even though I haven’t been able to get online! Hope everything is working out and I’m glad to hear the good news. Both of you deserve some serious rest!

Well, we're home. Caroline's in a lot of pain and trying to sleep but doing real well. We have an appointment tomorrow to remove the surgical drain then a follow up in a week to get the staples out. Thanks again everyone for all the well wishes. I know it helped her in getting out so soon.

Just take care of each other, and know that we all love you both.

That's wonderful Caroline got out of the hospital quickly. But no pole vaulting (or pole dancing) until next week!
I trust those cats are making themselves useful and watching over you, Caroline.

Did somebody mention pole dancing?
Oooooh yeah!
Seriously, even though I'm sure you're sick of hearing this, take it easy for a while, you need your rest.
If you REALLY need a bit of pole dancing, then just oil Scott up and strap him into a thong and tell him to get to it.
Be lucky

Good to hear Carloine is home and on the mend. Good luck to you kids. When this summer of unfun ends, we're going to have to get out and celebrate.
Just spouting off.

Besides those um, used DC stamps (what did you call them again?), can I keep my eyes open for anything for Caroline or you in San Diego?

Anything cool that's vampire or witch related maybe. I know someone at the show is doing a con exclusive comic called Salem (or something witchy) which Caroline would probably love. But any thing would be above and beyond. Oh, and I meant to tell you. Caroline's first real drink, while she was still in the hospital, was a venti size iced mocha Frappaccino. And I told her it was courtesy of you (Kev) since I used the Starbucks card you sent.

Speaking of stamps, are those the new ones that are being released by the US Post Office? Look Here
