I hope things are well for Caroline. Take care.

Hope everything went well with the surgery and that you fly down the road to recovery. I know that it's not easy to focus on yourself when you have others depending on you, but just this once you have to. Trust that in the end all will be as it should and hopefully things will be back to normal before you know it.

Hopefully the surgery will be complete soon and you (and Scott) will be able to rest a bit and begin the healing process. We're all praying that everthing goes smoothly and you both are back to normal (well, as normal as it ever gets around here) soon!

The two of you have been in my thoughts all day. I hope and pray that everything goes well.

Caroline has had her first setback. They had to do the full operation and she'll be in the OR for another 90 minutes.

Caroline, I only just found this thread and I want you to know that you have all the love and hope in my heart. You are a very strong lady, you're worried about Scott and your mother and even about upsetting us.

Yes we are upset but we ALL want you to know that we love you and if we all each can send even a fraction of the strenght and determination to you that you have allready shown then you can overcome anything.

Scott, I know how hard it is to see someone you love suffer and to feel helpless, I know that if you could you would gladly take her pain apon yourself to spare her it - but you are not alone. Even though we can't all be there in person, you are both in our hearts and in our thoughts.

You are not alone.

We are with you.

We ARE Legion.

Caroline & Scott, about the only thing I can add is that I feel a little better knowing you have each other to lean on. You've faced a lot of adversity lately and this just seems so monumentally unfair. I'm proud to be associated with good people like you, and all my hopes and prayers for Caroline's full recovery are yours.

Hi, guys.

I just got off the phone with Scott.

Caroline is out of surgery and was just taken to her room a few minutes ago. Scott said that the doctor thinks that everything went well and that things are looking good so far.

Scott said Caroline was already asking when she'd be able to stand.

I spoke to her on the phone for a moment. She sounded a little groggy, but her voice was strong.

Scott would have posted something himself, but the batteries in his gadget died, so I offered to do it for him.

Everyone keep sending those positive wishs their way!

Your strength is amazing; I know you two will get through this with flying colors. I wish you both the best convolescence any of us mere mortals can hope for.

I wasn't planning on coming on line today, but I did want to see how Caroline was doing.

I hope she takes the time to fully recover. I can imagine her pushing herself because she feels that she has to take care of her mom and Scott.

Still this is good news. More positive energy being sent to Utah.

Thanks for posting for me last night Thomas. My PSP battery died and the charger I have for the car is busted.

Caroline is doing extremely well. She is already up and walking around and the majority of the tubes have been pulled. Still in a lot of pain but hanging in. We won't know any of the cancer results for a few days yet but we talked to the doctor today and he seems pretty confident he got to everything before it could get started.

I came home earlier this afternoon to get some food and a few zzz's. I'm heading back now that I've got the Legion preview all ready for her to watch on the PSP (no WB at the hospital).

She wants everyone to know how thankful she is for all the love and support. Hopefully we'll have her home by Tuesday.

Take care everyone, especially those in Vegas. We would have been leaving in about 8 hours had we still be able to go. But you'll all be in our thoughts.

And stay hydrated! Our temperature gauge is reading 110! Since we don't live at the airport it isn't the "official" temp but either way too damn hot and Vegas is bound to be much hotter.

So glad to hear she's up and about.

I knew a little what was going on but didn't realize this thread was about that until just now. I'm sorry I missed it.

Best wishes for the speediest recovery option, and we'll be keeping you guys in our thoughts up here where it's only a chilly 92.

I am glad Caroline is doing well. Remind her that she needs to take care of herself first right now and not to push herself too hard. The doctors will push her if they think she is slacking off.
